The Real Her (Yn & Princeton love story)

Chapter 18 : Dinner

Jacob ::

When we get to the restaurant everyone stares but the waiter recognized us on instant . He walks up and bows modestly , I smile as he escorts us to our table in a private area . Right next to the balcony , with a beautiful view of the ocean and , moonlight. As we take our seats ,Yn smiles at me , I can see she is pleased .
"I will be back shortly to take your orders" The waiter nods
As he leaves , I notice , Yn her face glows I know she's happy . She looks perfect in her outfit and I just can't help but giving her a huge smile .
"I really love you Yn" I smile
"I love you too" She takes my hands from across the table
"I know we've been through a lot , and we've had so much going on with us . I just want to apologize for everything right now , I feel like I wasn't being a real man about everything" I shake my head
"It's ok babe , it was me too . I guess we both just needed to grow up" She nods
"Well , I can honestly say I've taken some of the biggest steps of my life with you , I'm making my first family with you" I laugh lightly
"Yes , we've got our little prince , now all we're waiting on is our little princess" She smiles
"Yeah , my little girl" I smile back
     I start to remember when we first meant , she punched me dead square in the nose . I didn't realize I'd be dealing with a crooked nose and a beautiful brat for the rest of my life . Here she is though , sitting in front of me years later . Still as beautiful as she was back in high school .
"Ready to order ?" The waiter pops up
"Yes , bring me two bottles of your finest champagne , and I'll have the mushroom and bacon pasta" I smile
"Same for me" Yn nods
"Ok that'll be all sir ?" He asks
"Yes" I smile
As soon as he walks off , Yn smiles at me again . This isn't her usual smile but it's much softer , calmer , I can tell she's at peace . I feel the ring in my jacket pocket , but I want to wait until I good moment . I've got an idea that'll be so perfect it just has to work .
"Babe . Promise me one thing" She stares into my eyes
"Yes anything" I nod
"We'll never lay a hand on each other again" She smiles
"I promise baby" I smile

-Meanwhile at home-

Rayan ::

"Karee sit down !" I yell
"No your not my mommy or my daddy!!" He yells back
"When I get done your going to wish they were here !!" I yell
"I don't care I don't care you can lick some underwear !!" He sticks his tongue out
"Listen little boy ! I will hang you by your ankles !" I point at him
"I want uncle Roc !" He crosses his arms
"Well uncle Chresanto isn't here to save your little ass !" I yell
"Ooooooooooo you said a bad woooordddd!! I'm telling my mom and my dad you cursed at me !" He yells
"Wait no no no !" My eyes get huge
"I don't care about your no I said I'm telling" He smiles
"Come on , what do you want , money . I'll give you money" I start to dig in my pocket
"No" He shakes his head
"Come on Jacob don't be like that !" I sigh
"Be like what ?" He laughs
     This kids is really going the right way for an ass beating . He's always treating me like this , I didn't do anything .

-Back to the restaurant-

Yourname ::

     The waiter sits our plates down , opens the champagne , and pours it into two glasses . We thank him , but he only nods and walks off . I smile to Jacob , as he smiles to his food . One of the things I like about his , he's always ready to eat no matter what . The grin he gives his food is so goofy and stupid sometimes , I just love it . Jacob has his ups and down , and we have our goods and bad . I know we'll get through it though because if we couldn't , we wouldn't be here now .
"So , I've got a question" He looks up at me
"Ok" I smile
"Muhammad Ali , or Muhammad Hassan" He smiles
"What type of questions !?" I laugh
"I'm just saying Ali was a good boxer but Hassan was a great wrestler" He smiles
"Ali would beat the snot out of Hassan any day babe" I giggle
"Never never ! That's none realistic !" He shakes his head smiling
"Wrestling is none realistic !" I laugh
"No it's not" He laughs
"Whatever you say" He shrug
"I know !" I laugh
     It's random moments , just like that one , that keeps this relationship fun . He knows the silliest things to say at the right time , and I think it's cute , and funny . Living with Jacob , and then just being alive are two very different things . I've come to realize that .

Jacob ::

     After dinner , there isn't much talking just a lot of smiles between us . Yourname hasn't looked at me like this in a long time , I missed it . As soon as I think about saying something though , she gets up and rushes off to the bathroom , the perfect time for me to do my deed . I toss the ring into the glass of champagne she has sitting , this better work . When she comes back she takes her time sitting down , I smile as she lifts the glass with her eyes closed she starts to drink . I quietly slide out of my chair , and down to one knee . When he ring touched her lips , she opened her eyes and the more it sunk in the wider her eyes got . She looks over at my seat , until she realizes I'm not there .
"Jacob-" I cut her off by removing the ring from her glass
"Jacob-" Once again I cut her off by getting back down on my knee
"Jacob-" She starts to cry
"Yourname" "Jacob" we say each others names at the same time
"Baby will you marry me ?" I smile
"Yes yes yes yes yes" She nods and falls into tears infront of me
"I love you so much" I kiss her on her lips
"I love you so much Jacob , I can't believe-" I cut her off by kissing her again.
