arriving at new horizon

Stef's: POV
After spending the day with my girls
I dropped them off over at their grandparents house for a few hours
I swung by the restaurant to pick up some lunch for Lena and I. Once l gather the brown paper bag and hopped into the car and drove to new horizon group and have some much needed time with my wife, to discuss our upcoming trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I was trying decide we're going this year, it's gonna be kinda hard with Lena just opening up new horizon, we might ended up going to the cabin for the weekend. As l drove through town thinking everything that we been though this year, it wasn't long before I pulled up to the new group home
This was the first time I've seen up close. This house is a lot bigger than the other one, not saying new Haven wasn't big, but this house had more space. I know the inside is probably huge, l parked my car in the front and exit the vehicle and l looked up to see the security cameras. I'm glad Lena decided to take my advice after what happened at other place, l know she's gotten them inside as well. I walked up to the door and entered the house
Where l was greeted by an older woman. Miss can I help you she ask me, yes l'm hear to see Lena Foster Adams Stef says to me. Let me see if she's available Sarah Who should I say you are Sarah questioned me
Let her know that her wife is here to see her please, Stef kindly States As she went to take a seat in waiting area that was nicely decorated. I picked up a magazine flipped through the pages
And came to a chicken recipe that looked good so l took out my phone and screen shot the picture that had the ingredients. As l waited for Lena to come out, Ms. Stef l heard someone call my name. I looked up from the article l was reading, Mrs. Foster Adams is finished with her phone call
You can go down to her office it's straight down the hall on your left Sarah tells me, thanks l begin walking down the long hall l look at all the painters on the wall l know Lena loved black art. I come to Lena's office and knocked on the door before entering, come in l hear Lena say
When I walked inside and found Lena sitting at her desk finishing up some stuff on the computer. Hi baby Lena replies,what a nice surprise she smiles when she sees me come through the door, hello gorgeous
I sat the bag on the table then went over to give Lena a property greeting
I pressed my lips upon hers and l feel the intensity of the kiss we share
Suddenly there's a tap on the door
We quickly break apart. Lena puts back on professional hat on and took a seat on the loveseat couch, l sit down beside her and open up the paper bag and take out too white containers and silverware along with the napkins. Lena acknowledges the young woman who enters inside her office, Ms. Lena l didn't mean to interrupt you from having lunch
I can come back later jamilla says to me. Is it something that can wait until later because my wife and I were about to have lunch Lena replied
No it can wait for another time jamilla sees herself out of her boss's office
Sorry sweetheart that was jamilla who just started here today Lena explains to me, love it's okay Stef stated as we both begin to eat our food.
