Script 21: Shatter

Jimin sighs, "A bit."

"Right. Sorry, noona." The younger boy mumbles as he takes a few steps back to let the club leaders talk to each other.

A lot of insults were thrown here and there. All the club leaders were agreeing with one another as they trashed ACE Academy's name. They weren't even scared to say everything out loud, not caring if they were literally inside ACE Academy's campus.

But of course, their hatred was justified and their anger towards the academy and the people in it were valid. They were literally hurting SCE Academy's players one by one. It is truly alarming.

As they went on and on about all that has happened, Chaewon still kept her mouth shut. She was taking all her friends' words in. She was actually glad no one asked her how she had been doing but they do look at her from time to time.

Worried glances here and there. Meaningful and worried eyes were hard to ignore after all. They remind her of Huh Yunjin and she would be lying if she said it wasn't doing something to her at all.

But she let her eyes wander as she might just go blind from staring at the same spot.

As if on cue, the door to the gymnasium opened once more. All their heads turn towards the double doors- staring and watching as a small group of people walk out.

Chaewon turned to look, too. She was not expecting to meet eyes with Kim Minju's brown ones but here they were, staring directly at each other's eyes as if this was the first time they ever saw each other.

The older girl didn't know what to do. With her mind currently filled with never ending thoughts of Huh Yunjin, she isn't sure if she would be able to react properly.

As the hallway was literally crowded with SCE Academy's club leaders and members, Yena and her friends momentarily freeze as they realize that they were currently surrounded by SCE students.

Yena chuckles as she breaks the silence, "Hey." She greeted them, sounding a bit hesitant. They were all friends but with the situation with Yunjin, Yena was being cautious not to trigger anyone's anger.

"I wasn't aware that there would be a meeting in the hallways?" She jokes.

Karina playfully rolls her eyes, "We weren't aware that your team would suddenly do such a thing to Huh Yunjin out of all people, too."

She said it with so much sass and with humor that everyone laughed. Suddenly, the atmosphere wasn't as heavy and Chaewon found herself internally thanking God that they were all willing to calm down to be able to talk with old friends.

Yuri looked a bit hesitant with speaking, though. She was the one who looked so worried out of the three of them. Minju was as quiet as ever. She and Chaewon would meet eyes from time to time while the others talked about what happened in the game earlier.

They could both feel that they wanted to tell each other something but they couldn't just suddenly speak up and talk in front of everyone.

"I'm honestly embarrassed." Yena comments, crossing her arms as she leans against the wall of the hallways.

"You should be!" Sakura says, her voice rising a bit. They chuckle, knowing that Sakura was only being aggressive towards Yena as a joke.

"I knew something like this would happen. No one just bothered to check up on the team. Probably because they all refuse to believe that the other teams would do this as well."

They all nod at what the girl said. It just doesn't sit right with them how the academy would be careless enough to let it happen again. With the first incident with the football team, you'd think they would be more cautious.
