Script 21: Shatter

So, she collapses against Soobin's arms and cries on his shoulder as Wonyoung walks up behind her to gently pat her back.

Sunghoon sighs, pulling Sakura closer towards the three before pulling everyone into a hug.

The only thing they hear are Chaewon's soft sobs and sniffles that were slightly muffled by Soobin's shirt and shoulder.

No one dared to say a word and they let Chaewon cry until she no longer had any tears to let out.

As the memory played in Sakura's head, she silently stared at Chaewon who was staring off into the distance.

She was obviously out of it.

The bags under her eyes were a telling sign that Chaewon was not able to sleep properly. She probably wasn't even able to sleep at all.

Well, who wouldn't be? When you've hated a person so much for years on end only to find out that said person was in love with you all along. It would ruin anyone's mind. The fact that Chaewon was mean, rude, and said a ton of horrible things to Yunjin while all she did was to love Chaewon unconditionally...

Anyone would feel guilty if they were Chaewon.

Suddenly, Sakura feels a tap on her arm and she turns her head to face Wonyoung.

The younger girl looked a bit worried and Sakura cocks a brow at her, wordlessly asking her what the matter was.

"What if Chaewon sees Minju?" The younger girl whispered and Sakura could only sigh. "I mean- it's not impossible, right? If they see each other... You think Chaewon would act normal if she sees Minju?"

The older girl wasn't sure what to say. She isn't sure what Chaewon's reaction would be.

She glances back at Chaewon for a second to look at her expression. She was as emotionless as she was when they entered the gymnasium. The older girl doesn't even know why she would still attend.

She could just easily not attend at all. The academy wouldn't care. It wasn't like they were required to attend... maybe Chaewon wasn't thinking...

She looks like she isn't at the moment.

"I don't know..." Sakura finally responds, "I don't even know if she already gathered her thoughts. I don't even know if she has already processed everything."

"Right..."

"And we're not sure about Chaewon's current feelings right now." Sakura added.

The last time Sakura was sure about her thoughts was when she figured out that maybe Chaewon doesn't see Yunjin as an enemy. Maybe she was starting to feel something else towards the redhead.

But now that Yunjin confessed and Chaewon was in this zombie-like state, she is not so sure anymore.

They never even asked Chaewon what she feels towards the redhead now that she knows Yunjin's real feelings towards her. Because to Sakura, it seems as if Chaewon isn't as sure as well.

It's as if she was still clueless about her own emotions and it's been days already.

They were all grateful that Sieun canceled their rehearsals after the incident at the resort. She wanted to scold Yunjin so badly but Soobin just saved their asses from getting in trouble. As a resident student council member, he stood as witness to what happened.

Soobin said that the guy started everything and with everyone backing up the claim, Yunjin was let off with nothing but a warning. Hence why Sieun went easy on the girl, only telling her to be careful and not do anything stupid like that in the future anymore.
