What if Beorn wasn't the only skin changer left?
Gandalf meets someone that you wouldn't meet everyday and befriends them, 100 years later he invites them to join the company of Thorin Oakenshield to reclaim Erebor.

On the outside Gandalf approached the round green door, raising his staff and drawing a rune symbol on it meaning 'G' according to the Cirth alphabet. Bilbo hears Gandalf drawing the symbol and looks out through the window, suddenly Gandalf's eye appears on the other side and Bilbo jumps back in surprise, scurrying over to lean against a wall hidden from the window's view.
With a slight twitch in his eyes Gandalf walks down the steps of the hobbits house and through the front gate, walking down the path leaving the shire. As the wizard left the Shire, he let the dwarves know of the meeting spot, and to ask his old friend for some help.

As the dwarves all were trashing poor Bilbo's hobbit hole Ezhelldir was approaching the round green door, he hears all the commotion inside and assumes that was the dwarves Gandalf told him about in the message he had received.
Ezhelldir stood in front of the door listening to all the commotion before knocking twice firmly on the door, he heard two pairs of footsteps approaching one being of a hobbit and the other of Gandalf.
Ezhelldir's POV
"Gandalf please don't tell me there's any more dwarves, there's too many already!" A voice says from the other side right before the door opens revealing a brown-haired hobbit stood next to Gandalf.
Since I can't let anyone know of my true identity I use a fake name. (It was the only name I could think of-) "Cerberus, at your service" I say bowing my head and reaching a hand out to the hobbit, with a stunned face the hobbit quickly grabs my hand.
"Bilbo Baggins" he says, and I give him a firm handshake. "May I come inside?" I ask with a pleasant smile, the hobbit quickly moves away seemingly a bit nervous. "Y-yes, of course" Bilbo says gesturing for me to come inside, (The stuttering is to show he's nervous, not a shy secret demon wolf alpha princess Y/N incase some couldn't tell) I walk inside taking off the hood of my cloak revealing my now brown hair and foggy green eyes. (Inspired by yours truly -Z)

Gandalf looks down at me with a knowing look, and I turn to him. "Gandalf pleasure to see you again" I say hugging him, it had been probably a few decades since I saw him last and I had truly missed him, it's quite boring to not have good company when you travel across almost half of middle earth.
"Indeed Cerberus, come, come you're just in time for some food" Gandalf says walking through the house crouching down a bit so he won't hit his head, i follow him having to only bow my head a bit as i'm walking through certain places.
In front of me is a scene I half expected and half unexpected. Around a dozen dwarves were grabbing all kinds of food from the pantry and bringing it to the dining room, some dwarves carrying stools and chairs to sit on.
