"I need to go for a walk and clear my head." He grabbed his keys off the table but left the ring and Yeonjun noticed.
He left and Yeonjun grabbed his phone calling Hueningkai.
"Hello?"
"Hueningkai."
"Yeonjun...What's wrong?"
"He wants a divorce." He said over the phone.
The line was quiet for a while. "And what did you say?"
"No, no I don't want a divorce. I said no and I told him I would prove that we should stay married. I told him to give me a month and I'd sign if he still wanted to."
Hueningkai sighed. "Don't mess up this time hyung. For both of your sakes, Beomgyu can't take much more heart break from you and I don't want to see either one of you like this again. Promise me."
"...I promise."
"Go be with your husband and win him back."
They ended their call and soon Beomgyu came back. Yeonjun cooked a meal for them while he was gone and stopped when he saw him walk in.
"Beomgyu...are you alright?" What a stupid question.
He watched him walk closer. "One month." Beomgyu said while looking up at him. "One month and if you give me any reason to think you can't change, you sign."
Yeonjun smiled and hugged him. "Thank you for giving me another chance."
Beomgyu slowly hugged him back but soon cleared his throat and stepped away. "I have rules."
"Dates are fine, dinner is fine, breakfast, lunch. We take turns but physically...kissing, sex...I can't do that with you yet."
"Okay, okay I understand. Can we sleep together? In the same bed again?"
Beomgyu thought about it and sighed. "Yes but no cuddling."
"Okay." He gave him a small smile. "I made breakfast."
"I see."
"Are you hungry?"
"Yes, I am."
"I'll make you a plate."
Beomgyu washed his hands and sat down with him. They had breakfast together and Yeonjun tried to strike up conversation.
"How's work?"
Beomgyu shrugged. "Nothing special, you?"
"Same."
It was silent again. He realized it had been awhile since they sat down and talked.
"I'm sorry this is awkward." Yeonjun said as he rubbed his head.
Beomgyu chuckled. "Well I hope you can handle a little awkwardness as you try to win me back over."
"Of course I can. You're worth all of the awkwardness."
Beomgyu smiled at him and kept eating.
"Since we're both off do you want to pick a date activity for today?"
"Oh um..." he started thinking. "Well I actually need to go shopping. Can we go to the mall?"
"Yeah of course."
They finished up breakfast and got ready to leave to the mall.
When they got there it was kind of busy. Beomgyu looked around and tried to figure out which store he wanted to go to.
"What about this one?" Yeonjun suggested as he pointed at the mall map.
Beomgyu hummed. "Okay, let's start there." They walked to the store together and Beomgyu started to look around.
"Beomgyu!"
He looked up along with Yeonjun who was on the other side of the rack with him.
"Tae!"
Yeonjun sighed. Just his luck.
