5 MONTHS LATER

Everything was going fine in the academy for five months. there is one kind of unsettling peace in the environment and Karan was feeling unsettled with it as his mind was revolving around only one thing why the terrorist had not come behind him after nearly 6 months since he was rescued.

However, in these 5 months, Karan has improved a lot and now he is very close to the test that is going to be conducted by Colonel Arjun and Major Rudraksha to declare him physically and mentally fit or unfit for the academy.

In these five months, Karan has bonded well with his brothers and has taken full advantage of their pampering, compensating for the years he missed with them. Slowly he is reforming into bubbly and cheerful Karan whose one smile can lift anyone's day.

But as it is said that there is the onset of the storm before utter calm similarly, some things were coming in the path of happiness of the Rathore brothers and the Indian army which they are yet to face.

At present Karan is with his big-b, running around the ground and preparing himself for the test which is going to take place in the next three days.

after completing the rounds Karan went towards his teammates from the first year who have a great companion of Karan.

they were all practicing for the upcoming football match the next day with another military academy.

Colonel Arjun was himself seeing the practice to ensure the victory of the team and to make them perform to their best. teams were divided among the batchmates as one team was being led by Karam and the other by Raghav, cadet of the first year with Karthik and Krishank as team players

Both the team leaders discussed the plan with the players and took positions as the match started. Both the teams were giving their best.

halfway through the game, the teams were at the same score 2-2.

suddenly a member of Raghav's team threw the ball into the goalpost, making another goal.

but this didn't lower the spirits of the cadets they were motivated to give their best due to the presence of Arjun over there.

Karan- chalo chalo guys we can do it. haar nahi manni hai. buckle up

(Come on, come on, guys, we can do it. We won't accept defeat. Buckle up!")

again the ball was passed among the players and it reached Karan he kicked the ball making it land directly in the opponent team's court causing an goal.

the whistle blew indicating the end of the match and all the cadets stood in front of the colonel in the line

Arjun- this is what you guys have prepared, what a shame officers your team's performance is not even upto the marks. coach Karthik.

Karthik- yes colonel

Arjun- kal ke match ke liye team ka captain kon hai.

(Who is the captain of the team for tomorrow's match?")

Karthik- cadet Karan is the captain sir

Arjun- cadet Karan comes to the front

Karan came and stood in front of arjun in attention position.

Arjun- go bring 10 kgs bag and start running 20 rounds around the ground all of you and your cadet Karan due to your bad judgment of the plyers position you are going to take extra 10 kgs. am I clear

Karan- yes sir

Everyone completed the rounds and stood in front of Arjun

Karan was improving a lot with the support of his brothers and also the batch mates used to encourage him which boosted his confidence

He is also able to overcome his addiction to some point where his attacks have been limited to once in two weeks.

As Karan returned from the training his breath started hitching, he knew he was in for an attack.

He started moving towards Rudraksha's office. As soon as he reached he fell near the floor.

As soon as Rudraksha saw him falling he reached over there and held him firmly.

Rudra- bacha kya hua see towards me hmm. akhein band nahi karni hai karan.

(What happened, child? Don't close your eyes, Karan.)

karan- bhaiya bhut pain ho rahi hai please ise roko na.

(Brother is in a lot of pain, please stop him)

Rudra- ha bacha bas do mint wait karle abhi think ho jayega hmm.

(Just wait for two minutes, you'll be fine, hmm?)

Saying this he injected him with the injection.

Karan's eyes started closing due to the effect of medicine.

rudraksha picked him up put him on the bed and sat near him holding his hand.

Saying this he kissed his forehead and moved out of the dorm while wiping his tears.

rudraksha was thinking about this incident while standing there when he saw Arjun dismissing all the cadets for the rest of the day. But his mind was stuck on the test which was going to happen the day after tomorrow. It was going to be monitored by the higher military authorities to decide on whether to allow Karan in the academy or not.
