Till forever falls apart|| James potter x reader

Year one

y/n loved her new dorm room which I share with three other girls with whom she gets along very well 

There's Lily (whom she loves of course), Faera Longbottom, and Alice Hart  

Faera is in their year whereas Alice is in year 4 

the next few days went by fast filled with classes pranks and jokes y/n spent most of her time with the boys but never missed a chance to have a good gossip with the girls all in all life in Hogwarts was very enjoyable.

It was on one such morning during breakfast that y/n and Lily received identical fancy letters tied with velvet ribbons

Remus was attending to his sick mother as he did once every month, Peter was nowhere to be found, Sirius was stuffing himself with bacon and James was staring at Lily. Severus was sending Lily longing looks from the Slytherin table

y/n groaned and threw her head into her hands

"What haffend y/n?" Sirius asked with his mouth full

"Don't talk with your mouth full Sirius " scolded Lily 

y/n groaned again

"what is it ?" Asked Sirius again 

"I don't think I'll be able to squirm out of attending  Sluggy's party this time," said y/n glumly

"They not that bad," said Lily 

"Not that bad?? That man likes to run his mouth" whined Y/n

Lily rolled her eyes

hearing Lily's voice for the second time James decided to snap out of his reverie and insert himself into the conversation

"What's the matter?" Asked James 

y/n just groaned again 

"come on now we'll be late to class," said Lily dragging a glum y/n with the boys following them.

y/n was playing with her food at slughorns as severus and lily chatted excitedly about something 

y/n had never liked severus but she also didnt approve of the boys bullying him 

soon her mind was drifting of to possible pranks she could play with the boys thats when she felt a hand tapping her shoulder she turned around startled and her eyes widened as she saw no one there 

she shook her head and concentrated on her daydreams again when she felt it a second time again she whipped around to find nothing and was about to scream when a familiar voice shushed her and said " come with me"

he grabbed her hand and pulled her through the crowd when they reached a deserted corridor james pulled the cloak over his head revealing him and sirius as peter and remus was still not found 

she gasped and gaped at the two grinning boys 

"wha ......how...?

"This......" started james dramatically

"is an invisibility cloak?" finished y/n confused 

" you are correct my friend" said sirius grinning like a madman 

"so whats the plan?" asked y/n, a wicked smile creeping into her face

Remus was back the next day looking very pale 

" are you okay, remus?" asked y/n worried

remus merely nodded his head 

" youre not overworking yourself are you ?" asked lily 

remus again responded with a shake of his head 

"hows your mum?" asked sirius to which remus replied with a fine 

james as usual was too busy staring at lily to notice remus' weird behavior

y/n huffed and glared at him 

she took her book and smacked on the head 

" will you stop staring at my sister and pay attention ?" scolded y/n

james yelped and rubbed the back of his head 

sirius snickered but shut up when y/n shot him  a look 

remus closed his eyes and sighed rubbing his temple 

"what day was yesterday ?" asked y/n 

"21st " 

y/n eyes widened and narrowed again 

she stood up abruptly 

"remus, can i talk to you ?" y/n asked 

remus snappe dhis head up and nodded rising up to follow her when sirius started doing the same she stopped him 

"alone" she added 

he gulped and nodded 

"remus your mother isnt sick is she " y/n asked 

remus slowly shook his head   

 " yes..yesterday was a full moon?" y/n stuttered

remus bit his lip and nodded 

" youre a ....?" 

remus nodded again his eyes now filling up with tears 

"oh remus" y/n said and crushed him in a bear hug 

remus startled surprised at the sudden action he stood still for a while before hugging back 

" are you going to tell the others ?" y/n asked

"n no th they are going to stop talking to me " remus said between sobs

" remus dont be silly ofcourse they wont " y/n gasped

" i dont hate you do i?" y/n asked 

remus shook his head 

"so they wont either " said y/n with a sense of finality 

they both walked back to the table 

"is everything ok ?" asked lily taking in remus' bloodshot eyes 

y/n hummed yes and continued eating her now cold bacon and eggs 

" uhh guys i have to tell you something later" stuttered remus 

y/n looked up and flashed him a reassuring smile

It was the day after remus told the boys about his lycanthropy and he was nowhere to be found.

Sirius took this chance to tell them something important 

"Hey guys , ive been thinking....... None of us want remus to suffer his moon days alone and we cant be there as humans so why dont we become animagus???"

"Oh sirius thats a greta idea"cried y/n

"but we cant let remus know or he will stop us ok??" 

"agreed " the four friends chorused

Guys i dont reaaly have any ideas for year two so we are prolly gonna do a huge time skip to year three after year one summer
