/7/ Growth

Time quickly passed by and today is my first day of being an engineering student. I rented an apartment as I find it to be hustle enough that I'll be travelling back and forth. This is also practical since I can save time and then find time for extra study.

First day of class, I felt so little. Halos lahat ng classmate ko, ang ganda ng backgrounds sa mga achievements nila. I don't want to brag so I just told them a little about myself.

May nasulyapan ako sa gilid ko. Gwapo siya, at siya ang pinakanapansin ko sa lahat. Matangkad din at halatang may kaya sa buhay.

As much as possible, I don't my feelings getting in the way so I don't give it much attention. I find it hard to adjust, lalo na at six days ang klase namin. Minsan pa nga, nale'late pa ako.

Orientation naman ang first week so hindi pa siya ganun katindi, just introducing ourselves and instructors telling us what to expect in our program. Second week is where the true battle begins. I didn't expect it to be this hard!

Nasa punto ako na halos wala na akong oras para magpahinga, at kailangan talagang mag'review araw'araw para hindi ka mahuli. I graduate with honors but I don't feel it right now. Pakiramdam ko, ang bobo bobo ko.

That goes on and on at mahirap talagang mag'adjust lalo na at TVL ang tinapos kong strand. Dapat kasi talaga, nag STEM ako eh. But I know that it's all useless now.

Worrying won't do me any good. I learned to be present all the time. Nakikinig talaga ako sa professor namin at minsanan pang tinututukan ko talaga siya at aaralin pag'uwi. With that hustle schedule of mine, I lost time for my family.

I guess, this is what they called sacrifice for the better future. I knew that they want me to chase for my dreams even if it means I'll be away from them. Kalaunan rin naman, magbubukod din ako eh.

Wala namang pinagkaiba ang gagawin kalaunan sa ngayon na. There is no perfect timing. If you can do it in the shortest time possible, then why not do it now?
