"Bu-"

"I'm asking you Caspian, do you want me to do that? What do you want me to do as your lover and not as the prince or the next king."

"I, I don't want you to court the omega, Your Highness." Caspian's body shook, a weird sight to see when you are almost seven feet tall and considered a giant by human standards. "And I won't." The prince reassured, "I might not know how the story ends but I do know I am capable enough to rule the country without any political marriages, etc. And all I ask is that you continue to support me as my guard, my friend, my confidant and my lover." The prince kissed the huge knuckles of the beta's hand.

"In fact," Basil suddenly decided, "I have to tell you something. The truth of who I really am."

Llewyn and Aiden sat side by side on the bed. Eden and Luke had stepped out after the beta recounted their passionate meeting. Llewyn couldn't stand to hear more so he had ushered them out. Besides he wanted to spend some passionate time with his lover.

"I still can't believe your brother and my guard were fooling around with each other.... That's not why I gave him rest days. Now if makes sense why your brother was working on that 'alphas and betas are allowed to mate' law. I thought he was just being progressive.."

"There's nothing wrong with my brother dating your guard, love. Why are you so agitated?"

"Luke is the guard Alexander assigned to me. He's a guard of the kingdom but I know your brother won't just let him leave. I'll have a hard time explaining why my guard didn't return with me now."

"You, you're planning on leaving again?"

"Ofcourse I am. I- Mmm!" Llewyn suddenly grabbed the alpha muffling his words in a kiss. Aiden couldn't even breathe as he felt himself being pushed down. "Sunshine wait-" His mouth was overtaken by a kiss again. Aiden finally used all his strength to pull the sulking omega away.

"As much as I would love to continue this, I don't want you to misunderstand me. I'm not leaving forever; I just need to inform Alexander-"

"Your King will visit in less than few days now, why do you have to go him?"

"But-"

"And I don't mind if you are going as long as I can come with."

"But you'd have to cross the forest of eternal snow." Aiden reminded while Llewyn stared at him without blinking his eyes. Aiden sighed. "Fine, I'll stay here."

"I expect so. Love, I really don't want you to tackle issues on your own; you know you can rely on me. We're mates, we're a team."

"I know. I won't leave you behind again. And if I still accidentally do you have the permission to restrain me."

"Oh I don't need permission for that." Llewyn and Aiden laughed. "I want to bring you somewhere, sunshine." Aiden suddenly whispered as if he had thought of something.

"Let's go! I'll have to inform my brother first. Come with me." Llewyn grabbed Aiden's hand excitedly as he made his way to his brother's room. This time he knocked on the door. There was no response for a while until the door creaked open and his half naked brother peeped from behind the door. Llewyn could see the outline of a figure covered by a blanket on the bed.
