Humankind is divided into three ranks.
First,
Alpha, or The Leader.
Dominant, aggressive, strong, and brave: they're naturally born leaders.
Driven by instinct, Alpha may be ruthless, but in a world where only the strongest survive, their violent nature is the reason why they sit on top of the hierarchy pyramid.
Because Alpha is superior in almost every aspect, society gives them more privileges than any other rank. Only alpha can own a territory, pick their own mate, and play important roles like military leaders, corporate bosses, and so on.
Second,
Beta, or The Workers.
They've lost their animalistic instincts like scenting, mating, and territorialism.
Logical and effective, the Workers are the maintainers of society. Doctors, teachers, technicians, 9-to-5 office workers; Beta are found in almost every field of career that requires focus and devotion.
They make up 70% of the population.
Lastly,
Omega, or The Queens.
The most prized, yet the most discriminated rank.
They're like the jewels of society: Beautiful, yet useless.
Their only role is to give birth to children. They're not allowed to work or even leave the house.
Naturally, all of them are women.
Well, almost all of them.
