Not that she knew it yet.

Everyone was beginning to arrive bringing with them the catering and additional decorations and presents for Travis. Despite stating he didn't need any presents, Taylor knew she had to get him something. And so did the rest of the family. They arrived just in time to take over organising and party duties meaning that Taylor could finally finish getting herself and Luna ready. Travis would be home in just less than an hour but she had time. She quickly brushed through her hair, already straightened from the day before and placed on a small amount of makeup whilst Luna began starting to stir from her afternoon nap. Taylor had ordered a special custom made jumper for Luna with the words Happy Birthday Daddy stitched in thick pink thread on the front of it. She paired it with some white tights and a matching skirt, knowing that if she out tights on Luna, it would mean she couldn't pull them off of her feet. She had gotten into the habit of doing so with her socks and with the winter months bringing in the cold and Travis bringing in the mud, Taylor was keen to keep Luna's feet as covered as possible around the house. She managed to get them ready just in time, making it downstairs just as she heard Travis' car pull up in the drive. He was joined by Patrick who was helping conceal the secret.

"Mate I don't know what's going on. Taylor just said something about the four of us having a night in to celebrate your birthday." Taylor could hear Patrick arguing with Travis as they came into the house. What Travis hadn't been betting on was seeing his entire family waiting in a crowd in their living room, all shouting SURPRISE as he rounded the corner.

Taylor could see the sparkling of tears form in the corners of his eyes, obviously emotional at the gesture and effort that Taylor gone to in order to celebrate his birthday. It was days and times like then, seeing her smile with their daughter in her arms that he knew there was no doubt in his mind that this would be the woman he married.

Travis makes his way through the entire cohort of family and friends, sharing some drinks and laughs with his friends from Cleveland and thanking them for coming. He begins opening a few birthday cards, laughing at some of the hilarious photos and inappropriate comments written inside them, some earning him a dissaproving glance from Donna. Luna begins to get fussy half way through the festivities and Taylor makes her way through the kitchen to find a bottle to heat up for her. Taylor had already breastfed her earlier that day and she was trying her best to wean Luna onto just breastfeeding morning and evening and before her naps as it was easier to have a bottle throughout the day. It also meant that Travis could take over some of the feeding as well. Something that he took absolute pleasure in doing so.

"Here let me. You've worked hard all day and you deserve a break." Travis says smiling as he made his way over to where she was standing, Luna in the crook of one arm and the bottle in the other hand.

"No but it's your birthday Trav. Go and enjoy it with everyone. Your friends have all travelled so far to see you. I can't just saddle you with the baby." Taylor replied, attempting to usher him out and back towards the crowds of people in their living room. Travis shook his head, taking the bottle from her right hand.

"Nonsense. My friends are all very aware that my favourite job will always be being her daddy. So come on, hand her over. I haven't seen my little princess all day and my present will be some much needed snuggles." Travis stated, giving Taylor a look that was hard to resist.

Taylor rolled her eyes, passing over the baby to travis' outstretched arms before making her way through the crowd to where Donna and Kylie were. She could see Travis still feeding Luna and showing her to Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett who were all looking extremely curious and intently at their littlest cousin.

"Do you think he was surprised then?" Taylor laughed, watching as Donna and Kylie both laughed back at her in response, nodding their heads in agreement.

"I don't think I have seen him so surprised in a long long time. This was an amazing idea Taylor. Thank you for putting it all together." Donna smiled, hugging Taylor into her.

"I couldn't have done it without your help. Thank you for helping me make today so special for Travis." Taylor smiled.

"It's never any trouble. But you are what makes his day special Tay." Kylie replied, placing a loving hand on her arm. " You and Luna make every day a special day for Travis Kelce."

Taylor laughed in response and they all continue talking amongst themselves, Travis rejoining the group in time for Taylor's homemade birthday cake to make its appearance.

"Couldn't put one candle for each year on, cause it would be a fire risk." Ross joked as Travis blew out the candles on his tall chocolate cake. He flipped his middle finger up at his friend before clearing his throat.

'I just wanted to say.... thank you for everyone who has been here today and who has been with me over this past year and throughout my whole life. My family and friends mean everything to me as you all well know and so to have you all here to celebrate with me has been magical. Truly the best surprise I have had in a long time."

They all cheered to that, all taking swings of wine ad champagne from their glasses as Taylor began to help Travis cut up the cake, Luna now in her Grandpa Ed's arms. Once everyone had left, it just left the three of them. It was approaching luna's bedtime but they had decided to keep her up a little longer so that Travis could open his presents.

His favourite hadn't been the new expensive watch that Taylor had bought him or the tickets for him and Patrick to go to the Grand Prix in Monaco. It had been the card that had been addressed to him from Luna. His first birthday as a dad. Nothing could replace the feeling of having her in his arms as he ripped the wrapping paper off of the rest of the presents his friends and family had left in the pile on the dining room table for him.

The evening was not spent partying but curled up in each others arms, watching silly American comedies and Adam Sandler movies. There was something so American about it, and so simplistic. They had each other, and that was all Travis needed to ring in his 36th year and another lap around the sun.

AUTHORS NOTE: Oooo a lovely bit of happiness. I had to include Travis birthday in this part as I hadn't already done a chapter on it!
