Nails scratch, a burning pain
My skin inflames, tiny red pricks on my arms
File dig deep, but not enough to bleed
Pink irritated lines across my thighs
Disappear in a day
But still bring the pain
Razors cut straight, it was an accident
At least that's what I told myself
As I washed it out in the shower
It's easier to injure yourself
than what most people think
