General tips:

- Know the person and buy something they will appreciate, not something they can easily think of or that they do not need at all.

- Make a nice birthday card, too. If he/she is very close to you, even bake a cake or throw a party!(:

Presents:

- A scarf. Spring isn't always warm so it's useful. floral, pastel, neon.. just something original and bright(:

- Flowers? Maybe with another little gift. Flowers are almost always appreciated. (so many a's! xD) (:

Like the pic in the set, flowers+cupcakes! :p

- A spring pajamas. A top with shorts or a short comfy dress.

- If she's sporty, a pair of roller skates. Or a skateboard. In spring and summer you can go out and skate together!

- A camera, if she hasn't got one. Not necessarily a professional, just something they can use to take pictures of memorable moments..

- Headbands! Flower or bow headbands are very pretty. If they like head accessories and girly things, ofc. You can buy a flower headband for the day, a glitter or bow one for the night and maybe a nailpolish or lipstick to go with each headband(:

- Take them out for dinner, have fun and pay for everyone's food. (: invite just a very few people.

You can go eat your fave ethnic food, like Chinese, or sushi, Mexican, or Greek, anything(:

- A pet! If they really want one and their parents agree. Turtles are very cute in my opinion. I really like birds but I don't have one, I can't stand bird cages, I prefer them to be free. It's the same for other animals, but you could let turtles walk around the garden or house, maybe.

- Summer stuff! Flip flops, beach towels, bikinis, body lotions, sunglasses..

- A very pretty top/t-shirt. With a nice graphic, or with sequins.. something they wouldn't wear everyday. For example, a sleeveless sequined top they can wear to parties, or a floral summer dress. Something elegant or just nice :D

- A pair of spring wedges. They are very romantic and feminine with a summer dress
