Part 1. Its Not Over (yet)

"...nothing" i mutter out

"Oh it better be nothing!" All of a sudden, he slapped me, he wasn't hesitant at all and looked like I exasperated him

I fell to the floor, my poor, weak little body fell to the floor and I was about to pass out

"You better NOT get out of this room...or else..." he says, in some menacing manner

He slams the door so hard that it looks like it'll fall off but it won't. It's made out of steel

Some weeks later, I feel light headed, I probably am. Visitors are coming so Leo forced me to wear baggy clothes so that they don't see my thin legs or arms

The visitors came. It's sandra, my best friend, Ralph, her boyfriend, and Isabella, another friend of mines. We smiled and hugged but right after we hugged Sandra stared at me

"Huh? Why are you so thin??" She asked, then crossed her arms

I noticed Leo glaring at me to not tell her the truth, I was quickly thinking of a lie until she chimed in again

"Oh! You're just working on a summer body! Even though it's still spring" she says, I nod and chuckle awkwardly, then we talk a bit

"I brought some cookies and candies" Ralph says, he pours the whole bag on the table and every candy there is my favorite kind

As I also grabbed a few pieces Leo whispered into my ear "You better not get too much candy or else I WILL punish you"

I noticed how everyone was staring at Leo, they seemed to have heard what he said. He quickly laughed then chuckled it off "it's just some joke thing we say together, no big deal"

Everyone just smiled and laughed, I just looked down and hoped this would be over

After some hours everyone was leaving and it was just me and Leo again. I quickly ran upstairs and as I was upstairs I noticed Sandra in my room

She was sitting on my bed, looking out the window. I went next to her and she smiled

"You're here! Can you show me your room??"

"Um...this is my room, you're in it right now"

"...what" she said, her happiness vanished. She stared at me confused and concerned

"Yeah, it's my room" I looked down

She gently put her hand on my shoulder "But, why is it so rusty?? And why are there human bones in that corner?"

I felt a tear entering my eyes. I starting bawling and explained everything, how Leo was basically holding me hostage and even attempted to murder me because I didn't want to give me a slice of bread. How he wants to have children so badly and how he won't let me do anything or achieve my dream job as a spy

"Oh my goodness..." Sandra hugs me "everything will be okay. Let's try leaving-"

Leo opens the door and he looks mad "what do you think you're doing?? The house is dirty and there's dishes that are calling your name!" He practically yells and the only reason he didn't yell completely was because he noticed Sandra
