Once her eyes reopened, she let out a groan of complaint, feeling a dull ache in her side, as well as a sharp sting in her leg. Moving slightly, the rubble fell off her clothes and she grimaced, pulling her body into a sitting position. When she glanced down at her form, she noticed that her jeans had ripped at the knees, a cut leaking crimson into her clothes. She surmised that was where the ache was coming from.

For a moment she just sat there on the dark floor, packed earth strewn with various pieces of stone, glancing at the scattered tissue leaves that had fallen from the display trees. From where she sat, they looked oddly like droplets of blood. She was alone here, although she had fallen with Lucy, the girl was nowhere in sight.
