A person
Or an object
A place, mother nature
Not everything happens for a reason
Teal and purple are the colors of a resting soul
A friend whose heart stopped too soon
A great-grandmother who lived an amazing life
A great-grandfather who survived war fought until the very end
A place that holds amazing memories
Now a new store is in its place
A doll that survived childhood
Still together for the one who gave it to me
A necklace whose chain broke too many times
A bracelet that snapped in half in remembrance of my uncle
Life goes on
But these memories and things I hold onto
When I'm lost I find those lost pieces
That helped me feel better
The losses aren't truly lost
They make you Stronger
