Chapter 2: Connection

beep... BEep... BEEP!

I opened my eyes and sat up swiftly. I was in a hospital. Looking to my left I saw my mother resting in a chair, her head against my bed side. I looked to my right, laying down on a couch was my little sister, Kina.

My movements seem to awaken my mother as she shifted in her sleep before sitting up with a yawn before noticing me awake and quickly bringing me into a hug.

Mom: Oh thank kami you're awake, I was so worried!

Y: Mom...? What happened?

She pulled back a bit, wiping a tear.

Mom: The school called and said you were skipping classes so I was waiting at home but after a few hours I got worried, I called you so many times before deciding to call the police. When they found you, you were covered in rocks and dust, burning hot, and shaking.

She hugged me closer once more, a tight grip that would probably Surprise All Might.

I hugged her back just as tight, wanting to comfort her as best I could.

Mom: Your sister and I were so worried... What were you doing out there?

I thought back to my walk, then the weird orb, the strange pain, and lastly the weird dream.

Y: I don't know... I was... Walking... Then it was late and I ended up there...

I furrowed my brows.

Y: I fell in and don't remember much after that

Mom looked at me for a long while, studying my expression.

Mom: I'm just glad you're safe, you scared me half to death

Y: I'm sorry mom...

After that and an equally strong embrace from my little sister I was checked up on by a doctor who said I was perfectly healthy besides a bit of a cough.

I was released from the hospital and went home, staying home for a few days to recoup.

During one of these days I was still thinking about the dream.

Y: Hey mom...

Mom: Yes dear?

Y: Do you know a Midorya...?

Mom: ... Midorya...? You mean from the news?

Y: News?

Mom: It happened a few days ago, the same day you ended up in the hospital there was a boy in the news after a villain attack... I think it was a slime villain.

Y: What a coincidence...

Mom: Why do you ask...?

Y: Nothing, I was just curious...

Checking recent news I found the attack. There was no official statement on the kids involved but the news did its thing and circled like vultures. Musutafu...

I walked up to the sidewalk and looked around, Midorya Izuku... From the news he was a green haired kid but rather plain looking... Green hair isn't common so it shouldn't be that hard...
