"How did you know my symptomps?"

"These are general symptoms Arthit..everybody has these before rut. How did you knew about your approaching rut?"

"I did not."

"When was your last rut?"

"I don't remember Kongpob. My ruts haven't been a regular thing. I never bothered about symptomps of it. When it came, I usually took a potion to have symptomless rut. Didn't even realise when it came or went."

"What? That is so dangerous.."

"Less dangerous than rutting against any available surface and scratching your body raw. After my first rut- I spent a week in hospital because even though my skin had healed, I had pulled some veins of my genitals while doing myself-turns out our healing ability doesn't give a fuck about pulled veins ."

"Aren't there omegas available in military?"

"Poor things don't have a say in choosing a regular alpha. Who am I to impose a monster like me upon them?"

"You are not a monster.."

"You are just blind" Arthit bit his tongue instantly realising his words weren't just metaphorical " I'm sorry Kongpob..I didn't mean that"

Kong rubbed Arthit's shoulder to calm down the panicking alpha " I know Arthit. I still can see through my spirit's eyes so I am not completely blind and I did not think you as a monster even when I had human eyes."

"Because you are you" Arthit said frustrated .

"What does that mean?" KOng mock glared . 

Sighing, Arthit dropped his head on KOngpob's shoulder " While no omega could technically say no to assisting me in rut or taking my assistant in their heats- I have smelled their fear, seen their disgust, felt their helplessness. I couldn't impose me on them. You do not see me as monster, I know and I am surprised- I have to tell myself that you are high on something. You are too kind Kongpob. I would almost think you are without a brain if you weren't administrating your kingdom so well."

"Such a glowing compliment!" KOng deadpanned "I was dying to be called brainless by my mate"

Arthit lifted his head "I called you a good administrator!"

"You called me a brainless!"

"I said I would have had suspiscions-"

"Semantics" Kong sulked.

"Aww...frog prince is sulking.."Arthit suddenly pinched his cheeks " adorable...no one ever called you names princeling!"

Kong rolled his eyes "I have two siblings Arthit , I assure you not even me being crowned a king has stopped them."

"So you already know how to deal with it.."

"I don't want my mate to join their league thank you."

Arthit raised a brow "What do you want me to do?"

"Be on my side.." KOng smiled " Use your sharp tongue to counter them!"

"Done deal " Arthit grinned " Gotta protect my princeling from verbal barbs."

Kong smiled " I want to see Wad's face when he realises his sharp tongue has nothing on yours-"

"No other-"Arthit's growl was cut short by Kong "man...I know. But he is my brother, beloved. Only time I will ever visit his bed is to kick him out of it for sleeping through meeting..so deal with it."

Arthit's eyes remained yellow but he nodded, tucking his head in to crook of Kongpob's neck, he inhaled Kongpob's scent " I know it is irrational..."

"Its just your rut . Don't worry..you will soon feel more grounded. And about potions...don't ever take them. They can render you infertile for ever, Arthit."
