H' & Thirty Nine: Murugan Thunai (Part 1)

Start from the beginning

She had pulled him to a psychiatrist for help and it was evident that the event had triggered his PTSD. He was under counseling. He acknowledged it wasn't as bad as his early days, for which she was grateful.

Pushing herself out of the bed, she slipped on her chappals and started to walk.

"Kanmani..."

Oh god, I want to meet him, I want to see his face.

Ignoring the pinging noise of messages from her phone she left her room, closing the door behind her. Anjali mumbled something to which she scowled.

She heard him sigh, "I am standing outside your P. G... I missed you, I miss you.", there was a pause, "What are you doing to me Krithika?", he murmured, sounding like he intended it to be a self-rant.

Her steps stalled, "What?", she breathed.

"I am acting like a lovestruck pubescent moron, walking around the streets of your P. G. to fucking talk to you, to see your face.", he huskily whispered, "Darling, I need to kiss you, and then I want to take you to our home and make love to you.", she could hear him breathe heavily, "Do you know how peaceful you look when you are in the throes of euphoria? With a blanket of your inky hair fanned behind your face as your eyes are shut tight and your delicious lips are parted marking a clear indication of your orgasm, my bliss. Argh... Shit, I can sacrifice myself for that sight."

Every muscle of her body jerked in a spastic response to such a crudely bold proclamation by Xavier. It might have been a stupid decision on her part to cut the call and spring towards the main gate. His dirty words- perhaps, not intended to be dirty- had been victorious in turning her on as she found herself cavorting like a Juliet for him.

Finding him next to the main gate, she lurched forward. Her ovaries burst at the sight of a sexy Xavier dressed in crisp Armani- dafuq, he was working this late in the office?- waiting for her like a Romeo. The poor phone slipped from her hold and tumbled to crash on the footpath.

Releasing a groan of pleasure, he wrenched her to his body and they kissed like it was the last kiss of their life. He lifted her slightly and perched her over his left thigh, squeezing her closer to him. She involuntarily locked her right leg over his hip and started grinding herself, trying to get the best out of him.

"Kanmani...", his left hand flew to the nape of her neck and he angled her face to deepen the kiss.

"Oh, Xav... I love you..."

Mewling, her left hand slipped from his head and pressed against his torso. Her hand ran a desperate needy swipe over his smooth shirt. Finding his nipple in between her clever fingers, she smirked before pinching it hard. His body shuddered in response.

He tore his lips away from her, "Damn, no, not here!"

"Xavier, fuck me.", she ordered, her body starting to sweat with need.

Carrying her inside his car, he did what she had asked him. Oh, and he saw what he had desired.

--

After finishing a quick round in his car, he drove her to their home to make slow and passionate love with her. He never enjoyed quickies much, it was petty to reach the pinnacle with no hardships- there was no fun in that. Trekking through hills and mountains to reach the highest summit created the bloody rush to achieve success, not a jet landing at the peak.

And he would be a fucking idiot not to swim across the vast expanse of chocolate. He so bloody enjoyed gliding his tongue over every twist and turn of curvy Krithika.

--

"Why were you working so late?"

Krithika sighed, content with their not-so-earth-shattering sex. She avoided any extreme advances by Xavier, her mind was constantly worried about his health and she couldn't let herself enjoy much.

He didn't reply, there was no movement, no noise, nothing; only his steady breath fanned against her bosom. Twirling his curls with her fingers she tried to deduce his mind.

"Xavier, say something."

Still silence. Her right palm pressed over his back, tracing his scars as she whispered, "Love...?"

"Marry me."

She frowned, "I will."

"No. Not future tense.", he tilted his head, the moonlight shimmering through windows reflecting the golden hues from his eyes, "Present tense."

Trying not to drown in the gold, she blinked, "What do you mean?"

Something flashed in his eyes, something very similar to what she had seen when he had confessed his love to her for the first time, "I am going to apply for the court marriage tomorrow. Please... Say yes."

Oh, my Lord Muruga!

A/N

I guess you already know that we are almost reaching the end of the love story of Xavier and Krithika. I am being unreasonable by being upset about it.

Anyway, to not cry while writing the last few chapters, I already have started thinking about Jagdish and Nishita in the back of my mind.

Yep, the first book in the series of 'Destined To Be' is "Chronicles of My Darling Husband"

It is about the obedient mommy's boy and responsible eldest Singh son, brother of Krishna and Subhadra- the great Jagdish Veer Singh and his arranged marriage with an obstinate feminist and angry bird Nishita Pandit. No, it is not a marriage of convenience trope or enemies turned lovers trope. I seriously don't follow any tropes ;)

Oh, I have already thought so much about Nishita Pandit and Jagdish Veer Singh, and so many new characters including young Krishna and Subhadra. You guys can catch a glimpse of Nishita's teen days in "Slivers of Silver", and way later- after she has a kid- in "A Loan of Five Rupees"

Sorry, Jagdish is nowhere to be seen yet... Except for the hype about him everywhere. XD

"Ab Mujhe Raat Din" was the first melody I enjoyed as a kid. I mean before this it was "Oley Oley" and "Tu Chiz Badi Hai Mast" kind of songs, Sonu Nigam just made a kid swoon with his melodies XD I am sure Xavier is singing this song while roaming street after street for Krithika ;)
