𝗡𝗢 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 ~ 𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿

✯𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒊'𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕✯

Mei was happy but it was also really awkward for some reason. Something had shifted. Unlike their regular hangouts where anyone could tell they were just friends, today there was a sudden tension in the air.

"So, I thought we could have a movie night at my dorm since my members aren't around." Soobin informed Mei who raised her eyebrows in curiosity. "Where'd they go?" She asked.

"Oh, they're practicing all night today, I lied that I was sick." Soobin replied and Mei furrowed her brows going closer to him. "You skipped practice? Aren't you going to get in trouble?" The worry in her voice was clear.

Soobin shook his head. "Don't worry, the members are covering for me." He reassured and she nodded before he put his arm through hers and they began to walk to the boys' dorm.

"How's Source Music so far?" Soobin asked and Mei realized they hadn't met up in a month. Maybe that was why there was something different today.

"Oh, it's been fine, better than Pledis already." She said and Soobin giggled a bit. "Made any friends yet?" He enquired, his fingers making their way through Mei's.

"Um... yeah, a few." Mei answered, her heart rate already beginning to rise. "So why a movie night? Today?" Mei asked looking away from Soobin, as she tried to stop blushing.

"Well, we haven't seen each other in a while, I have to admit, I did miss you a bit." Soobin replied, also trying his best to not sound overexcited even though he was.

"A bit?" Mei questioned, a fake offense present in her voice. "Okay, a lot. I missed you a lot." Soobin admitted and although it was what Mei wanted, she still melted upon hearing it.

Soobin himself was finding it hard to not succumb to the butterflies in his stomach as he walked with her, hand in hand.

"So, what are we watching?" Mei asked and Soobin shrugged. "Your pick?" He turned to her and she nodded happily. "I've been wanting to watch Shutter Island for a while now." Mei took out her phone from her purse.

"Shutter Island? Is it a new film?" Soobin questioned. "No, pretty old actually...2010." She replied as she searched up the film.

"Well, anything you want." Soobin smiled as the two walked down the street and Mei felt it again. That awkward tension.

Once they reached TXT's dorm, Soobin unlocked the door and pulled it open, letting Mei in first. But Mei was a little skeptical. 5 men lived in this dorm and it was sparkling clean. As she took a few more steps into the home, she found the living room fully decorated with a blanket fort, lights, snacks and more.

"Soobin, you did all of this?" She asked, shocked by the effort he'd put in to turn their living room into some magical movie theater. "Yeah, we haven't hung out in a while so I thought I should make it special." He ran his hand over the back of his hair.

"Wow... this is... thank you." Mei smiled as she walked closer to the fort and took a seat inside."You did say you prefer eating actual food while watching movies so I ordered some of your favourites... and I also tried making dan dan noddles." Mei stood up rushing out of the fort as Soobin pointed to the kitchen counter.
