Cale looked at the baby in his mother's arms as she tells him that is his new baby brother

His mother left deon with him to bond with him. He looked at the baby, he looks cute like the rabbit in the books his mother read to him. He looks small and frail as if a small wind to send him trampling

The baby looked at him with sparkling eyes as if he was joyful to see him and be with him. The baby had won the hearts of all the servants in house with his small smile.

He was starting to like his brother. They were playing when his mother came and said the baby needs to feed now and left with him

It has been a few months now since deon came to the mansion. He was starting to not like the baby very much. Whenever his mother was alone with the baby she looked sad, sorrowful and it was always when she was with the baby alone

He didn’t like his mother been sad and after seeing this a few more weeks he when to see his mother to ask why deon was making her so sad

Drew looks surprised at her son's question and looked at him for a few minutes

Cale took his mother's silence as a yes, " so the baby is bad??" He said. Drew snapped out of her thoughts. " No, he not bad what gave this idea?" She asked as he put deon on the bed and got down on knees to talk to her son better

She thought that she had done a good job at hiding her emotions but it seems like cale saw through her act, her son knows her more than her thought

"Whenever you alone with deon, you always look sad why is that?" He asked

Drew signed to herself and looked at cale with a soft look "deon had a very hard and challenging life and i wish to make sure he is happy and well taken care of"

Cale look shocked and then looked at deon for a while and " was it really hard?" He asked

"It was really hard, harder than more people can even endure" she said

Cale went deep in thought about what his mother had said. "Is it why you look sad around him?"

"That's correct, how smart is my cale getting?
You really do know your mother the best? Cale can you please help me with ■■■■■■■■ ?

After thinking about this mother's offer.He looked deon and softly nodded to his mother's question. Drew smiled and hugged her son
