Chapter 9

"N-No. Time. Time to stop acting like a rookie." He then began stacking the empty cubes with Rykerdraft.

~Time Skip~

It took Rykerdraft and Smokescreen like 10 minutes to stack all the empty cubes. Once they did finish, they walked back over to the other Autobots. Once they had, a ground bridge opened and Optimus walked through.

Everyone turned toward him.

"Optimus! Did you find energon?" Ratchet asked with anticipation.

"No. But I did uncover this." He then placed down a Predacon skull. Rykerdraft froze as she saw it. The other Autobots walked forward and looked at it.

"It cannot be." Ratchet walked toward the skull, followed by Rykerdraft as she wanted to take a closer look at it to see if she could recognize it.

"Be what?" Jack asked as he was stand up on one of the rafters.

"The ancient remains, of a Predacon."

Everyone was silent as they saw Rykerdraft walk toward the skull. She picked it up to examine it. She brought it up to her nose and sniffed it. Once she did, she let it go and it almost fell to the ground, if it wasn't for Optimus, who caught it.

"Rykerdraft?" Smokescreen asked with worry. Rykerdraft was still frozen but there was one thing that caught the Autobot's attention, she was shaking.

"What is it Rykerdraft?" Arcee asked as she took a step forward.

She took a breath as she looked at the skull again. "P-Predacon's all have a unique scent that make them recognizable even after a long death. It helps us know who the Predacon was. T-This specific Predacon was.... Was... My sire."

All the Autobots were shocked to hear what she had just said. Ratchet began speaking back on the topic as to how the skull was found on Earth.

"Though it remains unclear why such a skull would be found on your planet. It's presence reveals all too much about the Predacon which Megatron recently sent in pursuit of us." Rykerdraft looked up at Ratchet in shock as none of the Autobots had told that a living Predacon was on this planet.

"You mean that dragonbot we put on ice?" Rykerdraft then gently growled to what Miko had just said. Miko noticed and raised her hands.

"No offense." Ratchet nodded to Miko's question.

"Except the Predacons have been extinct since, well..." Smokescreen finished Ratchet's sentence to confirm what he was saying.

"Since before most life began on Cybertron." Rykerdraft walked up to Ratchet. "There not entirely extinct. Just... heavily endangered." Ratchet nodded in agreement to what she said.

"They're like Earth's dinosaurs." Raf said as he looked at the skull.

"Which means running into one would be like us meeting a T-Rex." Jack spoke with his arms crossed.

Miko then asked a question. "So, then what were dinobots?" Bulkhead answered. "Totally different."

"With Megatron's seeming new interest in the excavation of prehistoric skeletons, and a certain scientist back among the Decepticon ranks..." Optimus finished what he was stating.

"It would stand to reason that Shockwave cloned the beast from one such find." Rykerdraft was shocked that someone was able to clone something from 10,000 years ago.

"And now, Megatron's looking to clone another." Wheeljack then questioned Ultra Magnus.

"What makes you think buckethead would stop at just one?" Bulkhead got worried and looked at his leader.

"We could have beast wars on our hands." Rykerdraft looked at all of them. She didn't want to fight against her kind if they were brought back. She didn't want to have another war. The queen couldn't take this information and stepped out of the base for some air. She walked toward the back of the base and leaned against the wall as she was having trouble handling all this information at once.

She slid down the wall and sat on the ground. She stayed there for a little bit. She didn't realize that she was getting emotional from all this information. Rykerdraft didn't know that a few straggling tears fell. The queen began hearing footsteps and she quickly wiped her eyes and waited to see who would come around the corner. She shocked and displeased to see that it was Ultra Magnus.

"Yes. Ultra Magnus?" She heard him groan and then walked over to her.

"Optimus Prime would like to see you." Rykerdraft looked up at the Autobot and nodded her head. She then raised her hand for help, but Ultra Magnus didn't grab it.

"I'm still recovering from surgery. I can't really move on my own." Ultra Magnus rolled his eyes and grabbed her hand and helped her up.

"You know. You talk a lot about losing attitude to your wreckers when you need to start doing it to yourself. I know I'm not an Autobot, but that doesn't mean that I don't need help." Ultra Magnus stopped and looked at her with a glare and walk toward her. He began to say something but was stopped by her.

"No! You will listen to me and listen well. You do not command me. I'm neither an Autobot nor a Decepticon. I'm the queen of the Predacons. I know they may not be around anymore, that doesn't change my title. Now I'll respect you if you respect me. And you'll start by using my name, not 'Predacon'"

She didn't let him answer as she walked back into base to talk to Optimus.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR READING!!! THIS IS THE LONGEST CHAPTER SO FAR!!! I HAD SO MUCH FUN MAKING THIS CHAPTER!!!

I TRIED TO ADD MY OWN "FANNON" PART INTO IT AND THEN FOLLOWED RIGHT BACK INTO THE STORY LINE. I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT. I WILL DO THAT A FEW TIMES!!!
