Chapter 9

"What? What did I do?" The children looked at her then at each other. Miko began laughing.

"You scared us. We didn't know you were behind us." The Predacon now knew what they meant.

"My apologies. I did not mean to scare you. I was just wandering what this weird box was." She points at the box that they were looking at.

"It's called a TV. You can watch movies, shows, play games." Rykerdraft looked at the children with more confusion and then looked back at the 'TV'. As she was looking at it, she could see a road and two cars moving along it. One car was red while the other was yellow.

"And which of those three is this?" She watched the TV with confusion still in her expression but also with fascination.

"This is a video game. Jack and I are racing. Whoever passes the finish line wins." Raf said while he was still focused on the TV.

Rykerdraft nodded as she continued to watch. She became even more fascinated as more rounds were played. First Jack and Raf, then Raf and Miko and then Miko and Jack. She started to like this as she continued to watch.

After a while of watching, she began to get bored and began looking around the base. She noticed that only a few Autobots were in the base like Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Ratchet. She made her way over to Arcee and Bulkhead to ask them where everyone was.

"Hello Arcee. Do you know where everyone else is?" Both Arcee and Bulkhead turned and looked at her.

"Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack went to our old base to see what else they could find and Optimus went out searching for energon." Rykerdraft nodded and began hearing Ratchet talk.

"Ultra Magnus we are ready to receive you." He then pulled down on a leaver and opened a ground bridge (I know in the show it's already open, just go with it, :P).

Ultra Magnus pulled through in his vehicle form with a large box on his back. Bumblebee walked over and picked it up. The second in command then transformed once the box was off.

He began walking toward everyone. Rykerdraft didn't walk toward him because she didn't want to put stress on her body and she also knew that Magnus didn't like her. He didn't show it around everyone, but because of her Predacon biology, she can smell it when someone doesn't like someone and she can smell it off of him towards her.

Bulkhead, Arcee, and Ratchet walked up to Ultra Magnus to know what he all found at the old base besides the box.

"We didn't find much else in the rubble of the former base."

Wheeljack then came through the ground bridge holding a large ball of metal, which Rykerdraft later found out was a lob ball.

"You call this not much else." He then through it and it hit Bulkhead in the chest and bounced off and was headed straight for Miko. Rykerdraft saw it from a mile away on what was going to happen. She ran toward Miko and grabbed the lob ball before it hit anyone and threw it back at Wheeljack who caught it and looked at the Predacon with a shocked look.

Ratchet got irritated and began scolding Wheeljack.

"Wheeljack! You could have caused serious damage!!"

Ultra Magnus walked up the Wheeljack and began scolding him as well.

"What were you thinking soldier!?" Wheeljack turned and looked at the second in command.

"I was thinking Bulk could catch that lob." Ultra Magnus sighed and shook his head.

"Allow me to make myself clear; As Optimus Prime's second in command, I have no intention of tolerating wrecker behavior." Wheeljack didn't face Ultra Magnus as he was lecturing him.
