Puttng on gear infront of a bunch of grown men while also being millions of feet in the air was definitely not one of my greatest acmplishment.  Could be worse I guess.  I sat back down next to Soap.  "Look at you lassie" he nudged me his thick accent made his words blend together a bit.  I rolled my eyes.  "Quite it" I shook my head.

"You sure she's gonna be able to handle this? She's irresponsible" I heard Ghosts unpleasant voice ripple through my ears, my lips went up in a snarl.  How could this man parade around acting like he knew a single fact about me?  "Give 'er a chance mate" Gaz said coming to my defense which was appreciated.  "Don't get in my way Rookie" he almost scoffed and you could see the rough glare of his eyes and his sharp eyebrows.

Without even realizing it my nail dug deep into the bandaged blisters on my hand sanding sparks of pain down my arm and threw out my hand. I loosed my fist then took a seat between Gaz and Soap. I couldn't fuck this up, not now, not when everyone is expecting me to do exactly that. I wasn't like any other private or rookie. Not with the way I was raised.

Hours passed, Soap was asleep along with Gaz while me and Ghost were completely awake sitting in awkward annoying silence next to each other, but I'd rather the silence when have it sit through his insults.  How I craved the feeling of a book in my hands, something, anything that would keep my heart rate steady and my thoughts is order.  The small of the fresh paper, the slight sting of paper cuts on the tips of my finger tips... but no, instead I'm sitting here in a helicopter going to Russia.  There was a chance I would die here too- almost immediately I felt a cold whoosh of air tickle my cheeks and bite at my nose.  "Were 'er" Ghost said in that rough uninviting gravely accented voice, that of which I hated hearing.

Ghost shook the others awake and they groaned like two angry children. I chocked out a laugh. "We're alright in this shit hole?" Soap said and I nodded. Gaz the let out another groan. "Have you been here before?" I tilted my head the question had an obvious answer. "Sadly ya' welcome to mother Russian Rain, you gonna fucking hate it" Soap answer and I couldn't help but let out a small snort. "I can't say I'm happy to be here" I replied and Gaz let out a soft chuckle. Soap turned on his radio. "We've reached Russia Price" he said and the radio clicked. "Roger that, copy back when you've landed I'll give you instructions from there" Price voice was a little gravely due to the static radio. "Copy that" after that last click I could feel the copter start to land on to the snowy ground right infront of a black spruce forest covered in snow. It looked beautiful, like something out of a comforting book. I'd liked to paint this one day... but I haven't painted in years....I doubt I'd be able to capture its beauty.

As the helicopter landed on the snow and the propeller's slowed to a stop we all got up. "You ready private?" Soap said and nudged me with his elbow. "Positive" I said and he snorted. "Copy that"

Soap handed me various weapons. Two knifed, ones blade bigger and sharper then the other but they looked brand new the silver color of my metal was still shiny enough enough to see my own reflection on it. Two hand grenades which felt lethal to be handed so casually, though I've used them before at camp, almost blew my eardrum out in the process. a pistol, a familiar weapon... then a M4 Carbine a beautiful and dangerously deadly rifle, I couldn't help but crack a smile. "Requested from Price himself just for you rookie, if your a good shot go ahead and prove it" Soap said and my smile grew wider, back at camp the most dangerous gun we were allowed to use was a M16 rifle, which was still a good gun and one I was very used to but nothing like this... this was... I couldn't wait to feel the kick it had against my shoulders. "Never seen a girl get excited over a gun" Gaz said throwing the same rifle over his shoulder. "This isn't just a Gun Gaz, this is the best assault rifle to exist" I said the slung it over my shoulder then grabbed another pistol and grabbed a few (6 each) mags. The other didn't the same. "Alright Ladies and one man," Soap snorted at his own joke as he walked out of the helicopter, we all followed. The freezing air and snow mixed wind bit harshly at my cheeks.

"Bloody 'ell" Gaz said. The helicopter started up and then went on its way. Soaps radios clicked. "We're ere Cap'" he spoke as the radio let out static. "Copy that, I got eyes on ya' I'll send your the coordinates, once you reach the building we'll go over the plan" Price spoke over the static. "Roger that" Soap said followed by another satisfying click. "Bloody 'ell" Ghost said as he looked down at the MGRS coordinates. "We're far, it's all the way in the middle of the bloody forest" He continued and Soap cursed under his breath. "The hell with it let's move"

Au: (short chapter sorry, also if I got any information wrong I'm sorry I'm trying to make this as military accurate as I can but in all honesty I don't know anything about the military)
