Chapter 8

"Rykerdraft. I know you may have lost your clan and family. But we can help you if you need it." She looked up at Ratchet and then looked to the Autobots as all of them nodded their heads in agreement.

"Thank you all." Arcee walked up to Rykerdraft as she knew what it meant to lose something she loved. As she was right in front of her she raised her hand and began to rub Rykerdraft's head.

The Predacon Queen closed her eyes and leaned into the touch of the warrior's pets.

"If you need anyone to talk to. I'm here." Rykerdraft looked at Arcee with grateful eyes. She nodded her head in acknowledgement.

Arcee backed away once she was done petting the Predacon. Rykerdraft looked back at Optimus.

"Any more questions?"

~Time Skip~

More of the Autobots and humans asked Rykerdraft many questions. They wanted to know everything about her and how she became the Queen, which the humans and some of the Autobots were really fascinated by. They all gathered around Rykerdraft as she told them the story of the great war that happened in her and how she stopped it.

They all were like little sparklings listening to a legend speak to them. They were really into it. They all gasp on scary parts and jump for joy on victories.

Optimus, Ultra Magnus, and Ratchet were all leaning up against the wall as they also listened to Rykerdraft's story. Ultra Magnus got more interested and walked up to the circle and sat down beside the humans.

Optimus and Ratchet were kind of shocked by this action from Ultra Magnus but was happy that he is finally opening up to the Autobots. Rykerdraft smiled as Ultra Magnus sat down and continued on with the story.

She skipped the part of her mate and sparkling dying and went on about how she was trapped in the wall of Cybertron and both saved herself and trapped herself. Once she finished all the individuals that were around her congratulated her on her victory of the big war and how she became queen and were also happy that she survived.

"Hey Rykerdraft?" The Queen looked at Jack and nodded for him to continue. "What were your mate and sparkling's names?"

The Predacon Queen smiled sadly.

"My mate's name was Doomclaw and my sparkling's name was Bluewave. They were the best things that ever happened to me."

All the Autobots and humans smiled at her as she spoke about them.

"What was Doomclaw like?" Miko leaned forward in anticipation.

Rykerdraft leaned downward towards Miko and gently nudged her with her snout.

"He was amazing. He was very kind to me. A few years after I became Queen, he helped me learn how to lead and how to understand my clan so they could understand me. When we adopted Bluewave, he immediately saw her as his sparkling and took care of her."

The Autobots were kind of confused.

"I thought Bluewave was your biological sparkling." Ratchet walked near the group with a confused expression.

Rykerdraft shook her head. "No. I'm sorry if I skipped that part. The first wave of the Cataclysm killed Bluewave's creators, I saved her and adopted her as my own. Doomclaw cared for her along side me and we became her new creators. She was very happy with us."

Raf scooted forward just a little bit. "Did you have any sparklings of your own?"

The Queen looked down at Raf. "No, little one. We tried but every time I was sparked. The sparkling would be born dead. We could never figure out the reason behind this. We tried it three times, but each time I would deliver a passed sparkling."

The Autobots and Humans were sad for the Queen. June Darby, who Rykerdraft later found out was Jack's carrier, stepped forward.

"I think I know what happened." The Autobots, humans and Rykerdraft looked at June Darby. The Queen looked at Jack's mother with anticipation.

"What could have happened to where my sparklings were killed?

June Darby walked up to Rykerdraft and stood next her underbelly, which was covered in fur. She then looked up at Ratchet, which he understood that he needed his scanner.

"Ratchet, I need you to check where the 'womb' of a Cybertronian would be at."

Ratchet nodded at June Darby's information and began scanning until he got a beeping noise on the scanner he held and read what the scan had found. He was shocked to see it.

The Autobots, humans, and Rykerdraft saw his expression.

"What is wrong with me?" Ratchet looked at her with a sad look.

"I... I'm sorry Rykerdraft but what it says is that the organ, which humans have, thanks to what June Darby has taught me, called the placenta, which lets blood or energon give nutrients to the sparkling is damaged which is why your sparklings would always be born dead."

Rykerdraft was shocked by this information. June Darby walked up to Rykerdraft and placed her hand on her giant paw.

"I know it may be too late, but we can fix it." June looked at Ratchet with a hopeful look. Ratchet smiled and nodded.

The Queen looked at June and smiled.

"Please... Fix this."

June smiled and nodded to Ratchet.

"It will be a long surgery. Do you know how to transform?"

Rykerdraft looked at Ratchet and stood up and took a few steps back from everyone. She closed her eyes and her body began to shift and change. Once she finished, everyone was shocked to see her bipedal form and noticed that she was taller than Optimus (2.0).

"Is this a good form for surgery?"

Ratchet was shocked and nodded.

"Yes. Yes it is."
