AS THE KIDS RAN UPSTAIRS ALESSANDRA came over and hugged me which I happily returned the hug "thanks for coming, sorry if I get you sick though." She laughed "oh I don't care about the sick part." I laughed
"Are you all hungry?" I asked resting my chin on her head "yeah i was about to make them some food." She said "I can make you guys something." I offered "you sure?" She laughed pulling away looking at me with eyebrows raised
"Now that's where Aurelia attitude came from." I pointed out "no it came from you." She retorted. "That eyebrow raise certainly didn't." I laughed "okay whatever, this is like one in a million time you can win a debate against me." She rolled her eyes
"Seee I'm telling you." I laughed "can you make arancini, Mateo said you make them pretty good." She asked "oh yes of course." I grinned
"The ingredients are somewhere." She laughed hopping onto the counter next to the stove as she watched me get everything ready. "Oh yeah i have a dinner with a few mafia leaders in a few days and my parents wanted you to come." I started
Her facial expression changed "it's nothing about my business, it's cause I'm leaving." I announced and a smile appeared on her face "you did?" She asked suprised "I did it for you." I smiled walking over standing in between her legs.
"And the kids." I whispered as she wrapped her arms around me and before we both knew it, our lips touched.
It has been forever since this happened, it lasted for a few good seconds before we pulled away. "I'm so proud of you." She smiled hugging me "I just want you to know that I love you, and I never stopped." I mumbled rubbing her back "I love you too."
"I'm ready for the kids to know Dominik." She added and a huge smile grew on my face "I've been waiting for you to tell me that." I said hugging her once more before pulling away.
After I finished making the arancini the kids came running down "come get the napkins and silverware and place 4 at the table for Anya." She instructed while helping me plate the food.
She also made a salad so the kids had some greens.
When we bought the food to the table they were already sitting there so Alessandra placed the plates infront of them before we prayed and ate.
"Guys anya has something to tell you." Alessandra started looking at me "what is it Anya?" Louis asked with a smile on his face. I placed my hand on top of hers. "Dominik is your apu." She said and immediately their face turned into a grin
