"Sarada!" I spoke out startled Sarara just started walking and I followed her. It was silent for a while on the way home "Y/n why did you stay here with Boruto?" Sarada demanded I felt guilty about the whole thing "Sarada I can explain" I stammered over my words, Sarada's jaw tightened her eyes darted at me she knew I had feelings for Boruto since we were kids I thought I had gotten over them

No other words were spoken by us we soon reached our house and started walking to the house door Sarada started walking faster I grabbed her hand "Sarada-" "Do what you want Y/n" and With that, she walked in I followed behind her seeing my mother Sakura in the kitchen "Y/n!" my mother waved at me calling me over "Hi mom!" I said coming over and hugging her before setting the table for her "What's wrong with Sarada?" My mom asked me, I stayed quiet for a minute "You know her always moody" I uttered.

The dinner was quiet and awkward I think Mom could sense it "So...how was everyone's day" Mom asked "Perfect" Sarada gripped the chop stocks tighter hearing this I don't know why she was so upset about this "I've lost my appetite night mom" I said throwing my dish in the sink and going up to my room

Why was she being like this? Ugh I'm just gonna sleep on it hopefully she'll be more easygoing

....She wasn't

Two weeks later

Sarada's been better in terms of moods maybe she's over the fact that I lik-that she thinks I like Boruto.

At the Academy, Inojin and I sat next to each other right above my sister Sarada I either sat next to him or Sarada, Inojin and I had been close since we were little. I was taking my notes when Inojin tapped my shoulder "So Boruto?" I didn't glance up and kept writing "What about him," I told him, "When was the last time you talked to him?" Inojin asked,

"When he was suspended," I said, "Of course you did." Inojin chuckled, "What does that mean" I inquired, "It's no secret you've liked him since we were kids," Inojin said smiling at me, I smacked Inojins head "How dare you!" I shouted out, Inojin rubbed his skull "Look who's here" I looked up and put my head back down he was so loud. "Hey, Y/n!" Boruto yelled, I put my book down and waved to Boruto, but Inojin just giggled and stood up

"Riding on the Hokage's coattails" Inojin stated walking down everyone could hear "Oh dear," I said, as Inojin kept burying himself into a bigger whole "I just don't think you are worth-" I cut Inojin off by grabbing his ear and dragging him back to his seat "Let's go dobe," I said

Me and Inojin watched Boruto complete the course. "Think he beat your score?" Inojin asked me, "Tch no way," I said, he totally didn't right? "I'M IN THIRD" Boruto shouted, "YES SHANNARO!!!!" I yelled out holding my fist up with a smile. "Yeah you were totally not worried," Inojin said, I looked at him with a glare and stomped off slippin' on mud "SHANNARO!!!!!" I yelled from the top of my lungs, luckily Inojin caught me "Be more careful Y/n" Inojin said, I blushed a little before helping myself off of him.

Once me and Inojin made it back to the classroom we could see the whole class gathered up we pushed and saw Boruto and some older kid "Hey, Iwabee! You think you're so tough? Let's settle this in a match"
