Hide From Them

                        Down in the Darkness 

 Down in the deeps depths of my soul 

 I feel like I am just losing control. 

 Happiness is slipping from me each and every day 

 I just feel like I am losing my way. 

 I need someone to help me out of this dark place 

 In this world of darkness there is not one friendly face.

 Can anyone help me see through this world of darkness 

All I can see is a world of hurt and sadness. 

 Down in the darkness I can see no light 

 I am slowly sinking, sinking into the night. 

 I do not know how I got here in the first place 

But somehow with help I will get out at my own pace.

 PS. This poem describes what depression feels like! If you are depressed then you will understand this poem. The last verse is a verse of hope so I hope this helps someone!
