The clouds in my mind have parted
And I now understand
You were the one I wanted
But bound to stay my past
Seeing you again
Was a feeling of overwhelming
A mix of joy and something
It's too deep to explain
My eyes for you finally stopped twinkling
Now I get myself giggling
I'm even laughing
I'm finally moving
As I set aside the pages of you
And start writing a new season

Without making you my reason
