But their journey home was anything but peace or quiet. Taylor sat in the back, spending the entire journey trying to calm down a screaming Luna when was clearly trying to tell them all that she hated her carseat and hated the car. Sadly, with parents who had to travel a lot, she would have to get used to it, one way or another. Nothing would calm her down: not the soft music that as playing in the car or Taylor humming a lullaby to her, stroking her cheek softly. If this was a sign for what the rest of the day was going to be like, they were dreading it. But to their relief she calmed down as soon as the car stopped and they brought her into their home.

"See Lulu, this is your home. Well one of your homes." Travis said softly, lifting his daughter out of the carseat she so obviously despised and cradled her in his arms. As Kylie so rightly said, there was nothing more sexy or fulfilling as seeing your man become a father. He came to sit down on the sofa as Taylor hurried around the living room as quickly as she could, placing things away in cupboards and putting their bags in the corner of the room. It wasn't long before Luna decided she's had enough of Travis and began screaming at the top of her lungs once more. Taylor hunched over the kitchen counter top with her head in her hands.

"Seriously, it feels like I have only literally just got her to stop crying!" Taylor sighed, clearly stressed and still in pain from only giving birth just over a day ago. Travis, still holding the screaming newborn, came over to rub Taylor on the back with his free hand.

"Don't worry Tay, I will sort this one out ok. You just sit down and try and get some rest for me." Taylor nodded and Travis left the room for the nursery, the diaper bag they had brought with them to the hospital slung over his shoulder. He placed the slightly calmer but still crying baby down onto the changing mat in the nursery, sensing that she would need a diaper change. And lo and behold she did. Luckily it was not as bad as the poop explosion he had encountered the night before and after a relatively quick turn around, a clean diaper was on. But Luna still continue to cry her poor heart out. It hurt poor Travis' heart to see his little girl so distressed and he couldn't tell what was wrong. Her face was slowly turning purple and her body was growing rigid.

"Need any help?" A voice echoed from the doorway as Taylor came into the nursery towards where Travis was sat, bare chested on the rocking chair. He had obviously tried the tactic the nurse had shown him the hospital to try and get Luna to settle but it clearly hadn't worked.

"I am sorry Tay." Travis said sadly, looking down at Luna who was hysterically trying ton calm herself down but was turning her head side to side in his arms. "I did try to deal with it. I changed her diaper so she is clean and everything but I am guessing that she is hungry, and I don't have the equipment for that job!"

Taylor smiled half heartedly, coming over to take the screaming infant, taking up residence on the rocking chair that Travis had been sitting on. She pulled down her white tank top, revealing the nursing bra she had been gifted at her baby shower. She lowered the clip on one of the sides, guiding the baby towards her breast. She breathed a sigh of relief when the baby instantly stopped crying, sweetly feeding intently as Taylor relaxed into the chair.

"I think you were definitely right. She was probably just hungry. She won't calm down in the same way for you because she can't smell the milk. I am hoping that once she is fed, she may go down for a nap before the rest of the Kelce gang arrive!"

The baby fed for another fifteen minutes before she unlatched and fell asleep in Taylor's arms. She tried to transfer the baby to her snoo pod bassinet in the living room that Travis had brought down for during the day but Luna started to cry immediately. Her only option was the sling that Lindsay had gifted her, stating it worked like a dream for her eldest daughter and her son as well.  Luna quickly relaxed against Taylor's chest, napping and giving the pair of them a couple of hours of peace before she awake and hungry again, this time less urgent as she could already immediately smell the milk on Taylor once she had awoken from her nap.
