Script 20: Heart out

When will she ever move on from this situation?

Wonyoung had woken her up surprisingly early the following day, looking panicked.

"Chaewon, wake the fuck up, please!" Wonyoung kept shaking her until her eyes opened. Feeling sleep-deprived and still out of it, Chaewon was irritated.

"You better have a good fucking reason why you're making me up so fucking early." The older girl hissed as she slowly sat up, scratching her head with her eyes squinting.

"It's 10 am! And Sakura's nowhere to be found!"

"Fuck." Chaewon muttered, "Weren't you with her last night?? Why don't you ask Sunghoon instead?"

"That asshole's not picking up his damn phone! I don't even know where he went!" Wonyoung held her phone up as if she was trying to prove a point.

Her phone was open, and Chaewon saw the numerous missed calls from Wonyoung. The boy didn't answer a single one. "Did you all get wasted last night? How could you have lost Sakura unnie? And she's a responsible drinker, too!"

"I don't know?! I didn't even drink! I was literally sharing iced tea with Minji last night! Iced. Tea! Iced fucking tea, Chaewon! You think that would make me drunk?!"

"How the fuck should I know?! I wasn't there last night?! And who knows, maybe you both got tricked into drinking laced iced tea!"

"That's fucking illegal." Wonyoung deadpanned, and it only dawned upon Chaewon that that was indeed illegal.

"Right. We can report the hotel, sue them, and then we'll win." Wonyoung groans, "We're going off fucking topic- We need to find Kkura unnie!"

"God damn it, Jang Wonyoung! Start fucking searching!" Chaewon pointed towards the door because it was too early for her to give a fuck. Don't get her wrong, she does care, and she would have been so worried out of her mind if she wasn't sleep-deprived.

But she needed to sleep, and she would not look for Sakura. That girl is old enough, knows better, and is probably safe somewhere in a different hotel room.

"You think she's dead?"

"Wonyoung, I swear-!" The older girl groans.

"I'm contacting Kazuha right now!"

"You could have done that earlier!"

After the back-and-forth screaming from the two girls, Chaewon felt like she had wasted like fifteen minutes arguing with the younger girl. She no longer wanted to sleep as she had been awake for a long time now.

She stands up and immediately sees the glass of water, the medicine, and the poorly written note on the bedside table.

Yunjin.

Right, she was with Yunjin last night and ...

The bits and pieces of memory from last night came back to her, and she immediately downed the water in hopes of flushing the memories. She felt embarrassed by the memory.

How she acted so childish around Yunjin last night. How Yunjin carried her back to the shared room with her friends. God, it was so embarrassing for Chaewon.

She almost hoped she had never woken up, but she was wide awake now. 

She wished she had the worst headache so she could blame everything on the alcohol, but she was alright. She was just sleepy and tired.

She had no other excuse...

But she was intoxicated, so that's one. Other than that, though...

Chaewon winced and cringed at her own actions last night. She can't believe she let herself act like that, but then again, she couldn't really control herself. She drank a ton last night. Enough to get her a bit drunk.
