Script 20: Heart out

"Chaewon, please- hold on for a second!"

She doesn't stop. She kept on going, trying to walk faster. She was getting angrier and angrier by the second.

"Let's talk, please!" The taller girl had finally caught up to her and immediately held her by the arm to stop her from walking.

Chaewon finally had enough and turned around to face Yunjin finally.

"God, Huh!" She slapped the younger girl's hand away, and the poor girl had to take a step back. The older girl looked irritated and tired. Yunjin immediately felt guilty upon seeing her up close.

"I'm so fucking pissed off that my mind is all jumbled up right now." The older girl breathes exasperatedly. "You caught me in the wrong fucking time because all throughout this week- no, for the past month, my feelings have been all over the fucking place, and you keep doing all this shit that is so- so in contrast with one another!"

Yunjin stares at her with those guilty-filled eyes. Her brows met in the middle, and she sighed through her slightly opened mouth.

"One second you do something so nice and so sweet that you become so caring in my eyes, and then the next you're out here, breaking our fucking egg baby in front of me, and for what?!" Chaewon looked at her with such a pained expression that it also pained Yunjin to see her like this, all frustrated and so close to blowing up in front of her.

"God, what exactly do you want me to feel?! You keep doing all these things- these unexplainable things, nice things! For what exactly?! You're driving me fucking insane! You did this before, way back then. Acting all nice and shit, appearing like an absolute angel in front of everybody. Acting like a God that can never do wrong-" Chaewon sneers, "And the next thing I know, I'm being called useless and talentless by you throughout the whole campus speakers."

Chaewon knew she had hit a nerve with that one as she saw Yunjin physically wince, her face contorted, and she looked pained and guilty.

It just shows that Yunjin knew what she did was wrong. She looked and acted guilty after all.

"Now you talk to me last night, accompany me, carry me back to my hotel room, leave a glass of water and medicine on my bedside table with a little cute note taped beside it only for you to break the egg that we so needed for our finals!"

"Chaewon unnie, listen please I-"

"Here we go again with your fucking excuses. Just be honest with me for once! Why is it always that when I'm slowly letting you into my life, you start breaking all the shit around me? Why is it that you always, always ruin shit for me?! Am I just that easy to fuck with?? Am I just an easy fucking target?? Is that it, Huh?!"

"I was just trying to help you with that guy earlier! I promised I didn't mean for you to feel- like- like this!" Yunjin gestured towards the older girl as if pertaining to the mess that Chaewon was becoming. "I didn't mean to... I swear, I didn't mean to..." her voice was becoming softer and weaker by the second.

"Oh, don't go fucking crying on me, Huh Yunjin. You don't deserve to cry! You don't deserve to cry after you've ruined everything for me! After you've ruined me! You have no right to act all pained- no right to act like you were hurt when you did nothing but to inflict sadness upon my life!"

Yunjin tried to hold onto her hand, "I never wanted you to feel this way!"

Chaewon slaps her hand away again, "Then why are you hurting me?!"

Yunjin bit her lip as she felt her eyes sting once more. She never meant to hurt Chaewon, she never meant to make her feel that way at all. God knows how much Yunjin wanted to give Chaewon happiness and nothing else.
