Prank gone wrong

Me and the other social media girl Cait, sat Lando and Oscar to film a true or dare video for YouTube cait took over the video which I was okay with because I needed a break so I decided to sit behind the camera set up and watch,

The video was going well til Lando thought it was a good idea to prank me, Oscar had asked "Call the prettiest girl on your phone" he grinned Lando grabbed his phone out of his pocket

I had a smile on my face thinking he was going to call me but soon that smile disappeared when I never felt my phone buzz but I could see Lando on the phone,

I stood up not wanting to make a scene and walked off with tears in my eyes

I retreated to the quiet solitude of my office, my emotions in turmoil. It was then that I remembered my twin brother, Jack. He had always been my confidant, my rock in times of need. Without hesitation, I dialled his number, hoping for some much-needed comfort.

"Hey, sis, what's up?" Jack answered, his voice warm and familiar.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I recounted the events of the afternoon. Jack listened patiently, offering words of encouragement and understanding.

"babe it was a prank I swear" he pleaded from outside the door of my office and I knew Jack could hear because I had him on speakerphone

I heard Lando's footsteps slowly fade as he knew I wasn't coming out any time soon

"It's natural to feel hurt when someone you care about seems to overlook you, even if it's just for a joke." Jack's words were like a soothing balm to my wounded heart. At that moment, I realized that my feelings were valid and that it was okay to express them.

Armed with a newfound sense of clarity, I made my way to find Lando, which was easy because Cait had pointed me in the direction of his driver's room. When he saw the tear stains on my cheeks, his expression softened with concern.

"Babe, I'm so sorry," he said, pulling me into a gentle embrace. "I didn't mean to upset you. It was just a silly prank, I swear." Lando spoke pulling me in to give my forehead a light kiss,

I nodded, feeling the weight of my earlier insecurities begin to lift. At that moment, I knew that no matter what challenges came our way, Jack would always be there to help me weather the storm.
