" Sizhui, do you know what happened ?" Lan Jingyi asked. They were in the library.

" What ? " Sizhui asked.

" About sect leader. He was looking furious. "

" But I heard disciples saying something. "

Lan Sizhui looked up with knitted brows.

" They said that it's about sect leader's marriage. "

" You think elders will make decisions for Hanguang Jun too ? "

" This won't happen. " Lan Sizhui said firmly. He felt his blood boiled even with the thought.

" Have you noticed the tension between Sect leader and grandmaster Lan ? "

" Don't think too much. " Lan Sizhui said.

" But it's so obvious to neglect. "

" Then think about Senior Wei. He is too good in neglecting obvious things. "

Lan Jingyi got stunned but then started laughing.

" Since when you become good in making jokes ? " Lan Jingyi asked.

Lan Sizhui smiled too. His Wei gege was so dense what can one do ?

" Well we can't be that level dense and smart at the same time. " Lan Jingyi said , giggling.

" Mn " Lan Sizhui agreed too.

" I'll tell senior Wei how his little radish is making his fun. " Lan Jingyi said, earning a glare from his friend.

" I'm not making fun. It's truth. " Lan Sizhui said.

" We'll know then. " Lan Jingyi said.

" Stop and do your work. " Sizhui said.

Lan Jingyi rolled his eyes and again started working.

" A'Ning , want to talk ? " Wen Qing asked , seeing her brother standing without speaking.

" Jie , am I weak ? " Wen Ning asked , coming closer.

" No , why ? " Wen Qing was surprised by sudden question.

" Then why master Wei did not take me with him ? "

Wen Qing smiled. She caressed his hair , lovingly.

" Because he doesn't want you to always follow him. He doesn't consider you as his subordinate. You are his friend and he want you to live peacefully without always indulging in fights. "

" But I want to help him. "

" A'Ning, sometimes we think that if we give our everything for other person, we will help him but in reality we some times hurt him. Wei Wuxian has regrets and guilts. He never wanted you to live like that but before the conditions were different and now everything has changed so he want you to live with this change. "

" Don't understand. "

Wen Qing chuckled.

" Then just remember that if you live here peacefully with me and A'yuan. You'll help him." Wen Qing said.

Wen Ning nodded.

" And when he need you he'll ask. "

Wen Ning again nodded.

" Do you have something else to ask ? " Wen Qing asked.

" Jie , when will you marry ? " Wen Ning asked , making Wen Qing froze.

" Where this came from ? " Wen Qing asked , shocked.

" I saw wedding in town. " Wen Ning said , looking down.

" When time will come. Don't think about these nonsense, ok ? " Wen Qing said.

Wen Ning nodded.

" Go, water the plants in garden. They are my special herbal plants. " Wen Qing said and Wen Ning immediately sprint out.

Wen Qing sighed.

" Marriage ..." Wen Qing whispered and then shook her head. She was happy with her current life. His brother was with her , safe . That's enough.

" Uncle , it's better if this is last time . They seem to forget everything so easily. " Lan Xichen was in rage but still controlling himself just for the sake of the relation and age.

" I'm fulfilling my duties and I never consider them burden ."

Lan Xichen chuckled bitterly.

" We are giving you choices. Choose any of those girls. " Lan Qiren said.

" Enough uncle ! I think I really need to show who is the sect leader here. " Lan Xichen said , raging.

" I'm not letting my brother again any injustice here. He'll choose his partner himself so I am." Lan Xichen said.

Lan Xichen wasn't surprised that his uncle knew. Anyone who did not know , must be blind.

Lan Qiren was speechless. Lan Xichen was absolutely right.

" And let's make one thing clear , uncle , I'm Wangji's elder brother. His blood sibling. " Lan Xichen said , getting up. He bowed and left.

He would never let anyone hurt his brother again. He never let anyone snatch his happiness again. He failed before but not again.

Lan Qiren felt the mountain crashing on him. He understood his elder nephew's meaning.
