Chapter - 60

" Lan Zhan " Wei Wuxian called him. Lan Wangji's hair returned to normal and his forehead mark also disappeared. There was trailed of blood , left on the corner of his mouth.He could feel the wet robes, soaked in blood.

" Lan Zhan " Wei Wuxian called him again, tightly holding in his arms. He checked his pulse and heart which was getting weak.

Er Ming and others also approached them .

" Er Ming, do something. His heartbeat is getting weak ! " Wei Wuxian shouted. He was getting annoyed by how Er Ming and others were standing like statue.

" His heart scale is broken.. " Er Ming said in trembling voice.

Wei Wuxian tried to give him his spritual energy but as earlier, jade was rejecting it. Lan Wangji had his core but it's seemed like it's wasn't working.

Lord Bai came forward and tried to heal Lan Wangji but no avail. His pulse was getting weak with each passing second.

Wei Wuxian seemed to get agitated with failure. His eyes turned red and resentment started to engulfed them. He was loosing control.

" WEI WUXIAN REMEMBER WHAT YOU PROMISE WANGJI . " Er Ming said . Lan Wangji told him if he found Wei Wuxian loosing control, he needed to remind him his promise. Er Ming didn't know what was the promise but he could not let anything happen to his friend's important person.

" WEI WUXIAN ! YOUR PROMISE TO WANGJI ! " Er Ming tried again.

Wei Wuxian heard and turned back to normal . In the end tears rolled down on his cheeks, dripping on Jade's body.

" La..n Zh..an , I n..eed to te..ll you .... som..ething. You said.. you wi..ll listen m..e." Wei Wuxian said crying but no avail. The person in his arms had no motion.

" Yo..u are a ..liar y..you kn..ew it and.... y.. you hi..hide it." Wei Wuxian sobbed. He felt that Lan Wangji had expected such end and he was prepared too. He helped him with his core , protected him.

" You s...said y..you wa.want to go ba..back. Wh.why y..ou are not ...an.. answering me ? " Wei Wuxian said and more tears rolled. He was not strong enough to loose one more person.

" LAN ZHAN ! " Wei Wuxian shouted.

Any other time Lan Wangji would respond him , no matter how many times his Wei Ying called him but now ....

Er Ming kneeled in front of him and tears flow down from his eyes too. Yi Ran who was standing aside was also crying silently.

" Don't... l..eave me.. a..lon..e , p..lease. " Wei Wuxian said sobbing, holding Lan Wangji near his chest.

The sun was about to rise, telling the world to start again, forgetting what happened the other day but none of them present there wanted to start a new day.

Lan Wangji's pupils moved under the eyelids and slowly he opened his eyes. When he looked around he saw he was in some unfamiliar place. There was bright blue sky and under his feet was soft white snow . He looked far away and saw the union of sky and snow.

There were trees , covered with different colour flowers.

There were one tree bloomed with all colour flowers like rainbow and under it , there was soft green grass. It was in the middle , standing out among others.

He moved towards it and saw a man standing there. He could only see his black hairs falling on his back. He stopped at few steps away from the man.

" Wangji " The man turned and Lan Wangji could see the golden eyes similar to his.
