they both got out of the car and wandered over to the beach, ari sat down on the soft, white sand and randomly, the mood lifted.
their conversation began with her asking how he had been and it trailed into deep conversations about everything that they had felt, seen, experienced, everything about eachother even the stupid decisions, the damaging experiences, the problems they faced it was all blurted out to eachother. no matter what the other person said they both felt a lot of comfort in eachother and didnt feel judgment or awkwardness through out the whole night.

arianas body was shivering after a couple of hours and dominic wrapped his jumper over her shoulder and she pulled it over her head in relief. it was now almost midnight and they were walking back to his truck still talking and still listening. dominic hadnt felt so this great to be with someone for so long, it really was the best night.
