EIRA WAS NERVOUS. No, if she was being honest with herself, she was terrified. In her head, she was going over the ways this could all go entirely wrong, and there were so many. All of them ending with her daggered, placed in coffin beside Kol's until Klaus eventually released them both. A fate Kol never wanted for her, not after their first experience with daggers in their hearts. Yet no matter how nervous she felt, it didn't deter Eira from walking up to the large mansion, masking her worries with a blank look as she knocked on the front door. Within a few moments, the door opened, and Eira was met with Elijah. He looked no different to last time she saw him, apart from dressed in a more modern expensive suit, his hair slightly shorter.

"You came." He noted, as he stepped aside to let her inside. "I admit, I had my doubts."

"Well, you went to all that effort to find me." Eira crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes glancing around as she walked inside. "I thought I'd see if you were telling the truth about this trip being worth my time."

"Well, you know Elijah, Eira." The voice made Eira stiffen, a deep frown appearing as she glanced to the top of the stairs. Klaus stood on the landing, leaning against the railing with a smirk on his face. "He always keep his word."

"Niklaus." Elijah warned as he stepped beside Eira.

The hybrid raised his hands up. "I'm simply making a comment, Elijah."

Eira's hands balled into fists, her nails digging into the palm of her hand. When she looked at the two brothers, all she saw was that night, Elijah holding Kol in place, while Klaus placed the dagger into his heart. She could remember the tears that fell down her face, before she took off from the compound, before either of them could do the same to her. That night was the first moment since she became a vampire, that she had felt truly helpless.

"Promises have been made." Elijah informed Eira, forcing her to remove her glare from Klaus to look at him. "Niklaus has agreed to make our family whole again."

"And you believe him?" Eira asked skeptically, glancing at the man in question.

"Things are different now." Klaus told her, making his way downstairs. "Mikael is dead." His words made her eyes widen slightly. "Only one person is standing in the way of us becoming a true family again. His name is Stefan Salvatore. He has procession of one of the coffins, and I want it back. Help me do this, and Kol will be returned to you."

It all sounded too good to be true. She'd came here expecting it to be that much harder, to have to fight to get what she wanted. Yet, here he was, dangling it all within her reach. Taking a deep breath, she opened her mouth to say something, when an open door caught her eyes. And that's when she saw them. Three brown coffins, all set side by side, two empty and open ones set just to the other side of the room. In a century, this was as close as she had ever been, though not due to a lack of trying.
