This is me after writers block: <(_._)>    <zzzzzz
Knock knock, whos theres? writer. writer who? WRITERS BLOCK
Anyways, real authors note, I suffered like hell making this. First beta reader went: 'How about make them look at the crowd and point out some people they recognize?' I was like, 'Good idea!!' the other one? 'Make an enemy for them to bond over.' So...s**t talking? 'Yes.'
Please, I loved making that one part where they were talking bad about people because it makes me remember the things me and my friends say about others. So, yes. Some of the characters getting s**t talked are based off real people. Lmao. Anyways, ENJOYYY.

Walking through the crowd, Akiira couldn't help but realize how many people were in groups, he was looking around for at least one single person standing alone, but had no luck. Akiira was simply strolling through the crowd, before ending up at the front of it, looking up at the gigantic building in front of him. 'Holy cow, this is huge..' he thought, before sighing, 'I'm so getting lost...' Akiira turned around to walk away but froze when he saw two boys right behind him, one reaching out as if to touch his shoulder.
The first was a tall-ish ash blonde with green eyes, the other was just below the ash blondes eyes, he had dark brown hair that you could mistake for black and pale orange eyes, freckles dotted his cheeks and the bridge of his nose.

The three boys stared at each other for a few minutes,  before the ash blonde broke the silence,
"Hello! I'm Elijah! He's Kaipo!" Elijah introduced himself and the black haired boy next to him,
"I can introduce myself Elijah." Kaipo sighed, "Anyways, yews I'm Elijah, you are?"
"uhm..I-I'm Akiira." Akiira stuttered, silently cursing himself for that,
"Well, nice to meet you Akiira."
"Are you excited for the doors to open?? I am!! I can't wait for the selection!! I hope I'm in the Earth dorm!!" Elijah chattered happily,
"..." Kaipo sighed, looking at Akiira and mumbling, "He's a bit of a nature enthusiast..."
"Oh! I forgot to ask you both! What dorm do you want to be in??" Elijah looked at Kaipo and Akiira expectantly,
"...I want to be in the Fire dorm." Kaipo stated matter of factly,
"Uhm...well, I suppose I want to be in the Water dorm." Akiira shrugged, not really caring, he'd fool himself into thinking that, he is desperate to get into a simple dorm.
"Hm, you look like an earth student not gonna lie." Kaipo shrugged,
"You look like an emo." Akiira retorts, causing Kaipo to gasp and say loudly:
"I'm not an emo!!! Oh my god! Just cause I wear black I swear!"
Elijah laughs, "Well, I think it has something to do with the skulls.."
"I'M NOT EMO!!" Kaipo screeched, earning a few weird glances from others, causing him to flush red from embarrassment,
Elijah chuckled "Maybe we should move away from the crowd so Kaipo doesn't make an even bigger fool out of himself." He teased, Kaipo 'hmph'ed and marched off to a place on the grass away from the crowd, Elijah looked at Akiira and smiled sheepishly, "He has a short fuse.."
"ohh kay" Akiira nodded, following Kaipo and walking along side Elijah.

Kaipo dropped to the grass, sitting down, leaving his suitcase standing up. Elijah joined him, kneeling on the grass, but had a duffel bag and placed it beside him, Akiira sat cross legged with his suitcase on its side by him.
"Theres a lotta people here, huh." Akiira started, earning a hum of confirmation from Kaipo,
"Yup. Oh oh, Eli look! It's Alesha!" Kaipo pointed at a girl with blonde hair, the tips of her hair purple and one thick pink stripe from her roots to the tips of her hair, she was standing in a group with four other girls,
Elijah frowned, "Hm...why isn't Kaycie with her? She got accepted right?"
"Huh, she did...oh well, hopefully without that spoiled brat Alesha will be better behaved." Kaipo scowled,
"...uhm...who?" Akiira was looking at the two boys in utter confusion,
"Oh, sorry some kids from our old school. Be wary of Alesha and Kaycie, they were the worst." Kaipo explained, earning a disapproving glance from Elijah,
"Kaipo, don't be rude about it."
"I'm not! Akiira, tell Elijah!"
"Tell him wha-?"
"That bullies are the absolute worst!!"
"uh, personally I've never actually been in contact with one.." Akiira shrugged,
"Seriously?! Lucky.." Kaipo grumbled, Elijah shook his head,
"Okay, well those two were some pretty mean girls back in our old school. So, just be wary of them I suppose.."
"...Okay, so who is Kaycie?"
"Were you not listening?" Kaipo looked at Akiira with a raised brow,
"I was, it's just you said Kaycie and Alesha weren't hanging out with each other right now?"
"Ohh, yeah uhm" Kaipo looked out into the crowd, looking for the girl, Elijah shook his head and turned to Akiira,
"See anyone you recognize?"
Akiira frowned and looked at the crowd, not noticing many people he recognized. He pointed at a boy with purple hair, "Him."
"The purple one?" Elijah looked where Akiira was pointing,
"Yup."
"What's his name?"
"Hmm, I'm pretty sure it's Aiden."
"Aiden? Huh, so what do you know him as?"
"The kid who was never in, came in once when it was a test, then he never showed up again."
"Damn. Sounds like Amile to be honest." Kaipo was now looking at Akiira, having given up looking for Kaycie apparently, "Can't find her, she must've went to a different magic school."
"Weird." Elijah muttered,
"Right? Anyways, are there anymore loners we can recruit?" Kaipo turned back to the crowd, Elijah shaking his head and looked at Kaipo tiredly, before looking at Akiira,
"This is how you were recruited."
"Really?"
"Yeah, we were looking for loners."
"...I'm not a loner."
"Not anymore, now get looking!" Kaipo commanded, earning a sigh from Elijah and an eyeroll from Akiira as they both looked in the crowd.
