Timeline: 0600 EST
The following is the video log transcript. Connected to the SHD Network, all cameras and audio feed for all eight team members comes online simultaneously.
At the command center of the White House base of operations, JTF Coordinator - Manny Ortega, tracks the Division fireteam, being transported via motorized dinghy boats across water while the Herrschers are awaiting and have already made their way over to the insertion point at a sewer entrance, just outside the outskirts of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, closer to the edges of the shoreline.
Kiana: *stretches* So... What exactly are we doing again?
Mei: Did you not read the mission briefing?
Kiana: Well, uh... *scratches head*
Bronya: Kiana idiotka skipped the dialogue and went straight into the mission. Typical.
Kiana: H-Hey! That's definitely NOT what happened! I... erm... Need a summary! Yeah! Haha...
Mei: Oh dear... Look who went sneaking out the war room just to steal snacks from the fridge again.
Kiana: WHAAAT?! How did you know?
Mei: I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Okay, let's go over the briefing one more time.
Mei pulls out a folder provided by Manny and opens the contents of the folder. She then began going over the briefing for Operation: Dark Hours and what their objectives are and how they will contribute to the operation.
Mei: Our main goal is to vacate the Black Tusk presence inside Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. We will be collaborating with a fireteam of Second Wave Division Agents in which we will assist each other in the takeover.
Kiana: Erm... Who are the Black Tusk guys again?
Mei: Private Military Company. They seem to be all over the world so to speak and so far, America is being hit the most by these guys. The Black Tusk Special Unit are well above the military sector when it comes to weaponry and technology, utilizing robotics more than infantry. They are well trained and disciplined.
Kiana: Nothing we can't handle, right?
Bronya: This is not your average looter shooter or RPG, Kiana. I've taken a look at their technology and they certainly made a name for themselves. I might need some of their hardware for myself...
Mei: In a nutshell, we're fighting against trained professionals who excel in high end military weaponry along with using robotic combatants to gain an edge. Although we are Herrschers...
Kiana: It doesn't mean we're invincible either.
Bronya: The Bronya shall be your iron shield for when things get rough.
