'Only Time Will Tell How I End Up'

Part 12

"Well can I come by later today? Will you be at your stables." Came his voice.

"Yes I will be I'm at 2913 Red Buck Ave. The dirt road will lead you to me. Ill have my gates open automatically for you."

"Thank ya miss. I shall see you around 3." I smiled and hung up the phone and went out to see what Xavier was up to. I found him struggling to put Mischeifs blanket on. I laughed and turned off the hotwalker.

"Hey you could have just turned the machine off. It would have been a lot easier for you to manage by yourself. I could have had all of the done by now if It werent for my being all casted up." I giggled.

"Yea well, you know how to put these on I have no idea how to do that." He said with a frustrated look on his face.

"Well baby. You can figure it out because until I get my leg out of this thing I wont be able to do anything. Ill put on Dreams though she's the easiest and never moves. But dont take to long. Theres going to be a trainer here at 3 to see what he can do about Mischeif because as soon as the doc says I can use my leg im back in the saddle just walking the horses so they dont get wound up and get any bad habits." I said smiling. I mean I dont want bad horses.

"No you arent missy if I have to ill ride the horses just so that I can keep you off these horses. You are way to delicate with those ribs right now to do anything of this sort."

"Well you didnt think so last night. I mean with all the stuff we did last night you deffinetly didnt think so." I said winking at him.

"Well that was different I was making love to you." I rolled my eyes and smiled. Trust him to come up with an excuse. Eh whatever as soon as I can use this leg ill be coming out here in the early morning until he catches me and if I can late night on the weekends. He wont be able to stop me if I have all his keys and all of mine. His mom and dad would not let him have their keys especially if I asked them to not give them to him and keep them hidden from him, I smiled to myself and laughed out loud.

"Whats so funny young missy? I dont find you being broken to be all that funny."

"Well genius I was just thinking. And besides it wouldnt be hard work it would be simply mounting up, yes with a saddle, and walking them around. No trotting cantering and or jumping. I wouldnt do that until I was healed genius. The way id get her to go over jumps is setting up some jumps in the 50 foot round pen and sending her over with a really long lead rope. Just so she stays into jumping and I dont have to retrain her. I mean I can easily go back into competeing if I have nothing to work on."

"Well fine Ill be coming with you though."

"Ugh no. You wont be coming with me. Ill be coming alone most of the time because im on the homestudy plan now. Mom and dad got me on it yesterday so that I could stay at home and rest more. Ill be up and adam around 6 be out in the barn at 7, and home by 12. Meaning you can come to see me at lunch. The only way I wont be home by 12 would be doctor and or farrier appointment for the horses and I would tell you if I wasnt going to be there. Ok?"

"Fine. But on the weekends I come with you."

"Oh yea sure. Whatever makes you happy love." I smile. Well I know I can win battles with him.

"Baby will you go get me a granola bar and some water. Possibly my chair so I can sit with the horses out in the nice sun shine?"

" Yes babe. I will." I smiled and quickly clambered up the stairs waiting for dream to come by. As she stepped next to me she halted for a quick second and I slid my good leg right over her and let my bad leg hang loosely near her. She started moving again and I held onto her mane and sat up straighter.

"What are you doing?!?!" He yelled.

"Well as you can see im sitting on my gentle mares back walking around in circles with her. Be glad im not running around in the arena." I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Baby girl your scaring me being up on the horse with a broken leg and nothing to hold onto. Please get down for me?"

"Fine Ill get down. She's not going to do anything though. Shes the sweetest girl and she enjoys walking around with me like this." I started to slid my weight off and he was there in a nano second catching me at the waist and holding me close. He handed me my water and granola and picked me up bridle style carrying me to the car and belting me in the passenger seat also effectively putting child lock on the door, and taking my crutches. I scowled at him and took the keys before he shut the door. I turned on the car and started blasting music, I watched him lead the horses into the barn one by one putting them up in their stalls and settling them down. 10 minutes later he walked out holding my lap top case and all of the stuff we brought. He set it down and closed the barn doors locking the doors with the security system. I smiled and turned down the music as he got in. I reclined my seat and took a nap on the 15 minute drive home. When I woke up it was 5 in the afternoon and I was in my bed. I guess I had fallen asleep for a few hours. I hopped up and hobbled to the showers. Only another 2 weeks of this god damned cast before he allows me to take it off for good and wraps my leg up in the soft braces that go under clothes. I took a quick shower and put on a white sun dress. I pulled my hair up into a pony tail and put a few curls in through out it. I smiled and slipped on one of my white satin ballet flats. I took off the cast and wrapped it up in a soft brace all nice and snug and slipped on my other one. I hobbled down to Xavier's room and found him lying on his stomach listening to music with his his eyes closed. I smiled and layed down beside him draping my arm over his back and pretending to sleep. I felt him kiss my nose and I held back a smile. I felt him kiss my lips and I couldnt help but to kiss back. I laughed and smiled. I hopped up dragging him with me. I tossed him a green and blacked striped shirt with his green and black checked vans and some black skinnys. I shoved him in the bathroom and told him to get changed. I quickly called the chauffeur and asked him to take us to The Harbour restaurant down on the pier. He gladly obliged and told me he would have the shorter limo out front in 5 minutes. I smiled and sat down on his bed waiting for him to come out. He came out with his sexy smile and nice bed head look and I jumped up and kissed him. I pulled him out front and to the limo before he could say a thing.

"So where we going babe? I know you wouldnt take the limo for no reason."

"Its a surprise. Now put this blindfold on please, and no peaking." As soon as we got there I asked the guy to be ready when we were and that he could take this time to do as he pleased. I smiled and led Xavier up through the doors of the restaurant. I told the guy we had the reservations for 2 queitly and he led me and Xavier to the corner I had them set up for us. There were a few candles and a bottle of sparkling grape cider. I sat him down in his chair and then sat down in mine.

"You can take off the blindfold now honey. Were here." He slowly removed the blindfold and took in his surrondings. I remember one time I heard a girl in the hallway say that the harbour was one of his favorite places. So I figured now that were dating why not take him?

"So how do you like it. Is it what you expected?"

"No not at all. How did you know this is one of my favorite places."

"Well a girls has her ways." The rest of the night was a blast. I had the guy take us to the pier and we went on a few of the rides. Then we went and sat on the beach and watched the stars for a while. And now, well now were heading home sitting in the backseat of the limo all snuggled up to eachother with me half asleep. I smiled when I felt him pick me up and carry me upstairs. He took off my clothes and replaced them with a fresh night gown. I snuggled into the pillows and when he wrapped his arms around me I snuggled up closer to him and pulled him tighter around me. This night couldnt have gotten any better.
