Backstory: After Runa's mother gave birth to Senjuro, she acquired an untreatable disease and died when Senjuro was really young. Her father became an alcoholic and was abusive to Runa and her brothers. But her older brother, Kyojuro, raised her to be a passionate and caring person. She learned Flame Breathing and is on the path to become the next Flame Hashira.
