A/N: Hey there, this chapter has some sexual innuendos. Just wanted to give you a heads-up before you start reading.

That wasn't a good idea, the voice stated.

You think? Shepard thought trying not to struggle against the alien. It has a good grip on her throat.

At least now we know I can use their technology, the voice continued. This is our chance to fix the radio and get off this planet.

All we need is for the alien to give us the omni-tool and we can send a signal, the voice continued.

Like that's going to happen, Shepard replied.

You'll have to ask nicely, the voice stated.

"How am I able to understand you?" the alien asked not moving.

"I'm a tech," she lied. "I've been trying to access the correct frequencies for translation. I must have found the correct one if you're able to understand what I'm saying."

The alien stared at her for several minutes before deciding to let go. Shepard slowly massaging her throat. She stared at the alien a bit more since it was also looking at her.

"Could you get off of me?" Shepard asked after a few more minutes of staring.

The alien muttered something that Shepard couldn't catch before standing up. Shepard slowly sat up and stood.

"Thanks," Shepard said.

The alien looked at her again before going to put on their armor. Not wanting to make them uncomfortable, Shepard went to find something to eat. Thankfully the bags that Miranda packed had food in them. Not knowing when they would be rescued, Shepard had begun to ration out the food. Today was the day she would be able to eat.

After her small breakfast, Shepard went to work on the makeshift radio. According to the voice, they had collected everything they needed to assemble the radio. All they needed was a type of computer chip that would act like a key to open the communication channels. Shepard had tried using her chip but they weren't given access. Shepard really hoped that the alien's omni-tool would have a similar chip that would help them contact anyone who may be listening.

How's it looking? Shepard asked.

Just a few more connections, the voice replied.

"What are you doing?" a familiar voice asked.

Shepard looked over and saw the alien looking at her makeshift radio.

"Working on getting the radio to work," she explained. "I just need a processing chip to boost the signal on the radio. This will allow the signal to leave the planet's atmosphere."

"Have you found one?" the alien asked.

Shepard shook her head and went back to work.

"What do I call you?" She asked after several minutes of silence.

The alien was watching her work.

"Garrus," he replied.

Shepard nodded and kept working. Shepard hoped that Miranda would come back and search for her. After what felt like forever, Shepard was able to solder the last few connections into place. She leaned back and studied her handy work.

This should do it, the voice said. All we need now is the chip from his omni-tool.

If he doesn't offer to help, Shepard began. I'll steal it from him when he sleeps and put it back before he wakes up.
