The Next Day (Wednesday)

*Elias's POV*

I was fast asleep until someone shook me awake

Sally: Elias, school's canceled today, something in the school broke or whatever happened

Me: *my eyes still closed* That's nice....now let me sleep

Sally: Oh come on! I should be the one wanting to sleep in, you're just being a bum

Me: Convince me to wake up..

Sally: Mom's taking all three of us to the park, also some of our friends will be there, probably

Me: And why do you want me to wake up now?..

Sally: Because we're leaving for the park now

Me: *grumbles* Fine...

30 Minutes Later

Our mom was walking the three of us towards the park, Ray was literally bouncing around, because he knew for sure that our friends would be there

Alicia: You kids happy school's canceled for today?

Ray: Kind of

Me: Weird that they canceled school on the third day

Sally: Yeah

When we arrived at the park we saw the Prowers, Vector and Vanilla's family, Mighty, Knuckles, Larry, Lanolin, and Mimic, also Nicole, Shard, and Sonic's Uncle Chuck were there, we all headed to where our friends were all hanging out, after a few minutes, we all gathered into a group while the adults talked about something, the group included me, Sally, Ray, Tails, Mighty, Knuckles, Larry, Lanolin, Mimic, Espio, Amy, Cream, Charmy, Nicole and Shard

Sally: So, what do you all wanna do?

Cream: Let's team up and see who can find the prettiest plants for our parents!

Amy: Good idea Cream

Mimic: Isn't that idea a little..childish?

Lanolin: Yeah, but it'll be nice to feel like little kids again

 Shard: *smiling* I was never a little kid

Knuckles: Well you sure as heck act like one

Shard: Hey!

Mighty: *chuckles* Let's just play the game

Ray: So, what're the groups Cream?

Cream: Hmm

Nicole: How about we go into five groups of three?

Cream: Yeah!

Espio: How about this? Group one includes Lanolin, Ray, and Elias, the second group includes, Mimic, Charmy, and Nicole, the third group includes Cream, Mighty, and Espio, the fourth group includes Knuckles, Sally, and Shard, the last group will include Tails, Larry, and Amy, Cheese can go with Cream's team

Everyone nodded and went with their groups, me, Ray, and Lanolin went over to our mom, to ask for permission for something after we had the idea of going into the forest a little to find plants, most likely flowers

Lanolin: Hi Mrs. Acorn, is it ok if we go into the forest?

Alicia: Sure, just be careful and don't go too far and don't go across the river, or in it for that matter, also, keep an eye on each other, well, you know the basics, watch for poison ivy, and check for ticks when you're done

Me: Got it

The three of us then headed to the forest and headed inside, we went straight for the river, at least a more shallow part, because there was an opening near it that might have had some interesting things, then Ray turned to me as we walked towards the flowing water
