Before, Ivan was a young boy with an attitude, but he always cared for his sister Anna. One day, when Anna was picked to go to Death Queen Island, Ivan took her place and went instead, so Anna could go to Andromeda Island.
Since then, he has been training hard under the tutelage of Master Guilty, while caring for his lost love, Esmerelda. Then, the unthinkable happened, Ivan killed Master Guilty out of hateful rage and acquired the Phoenix Armor and a Saint Driver at that.
