"Isaiah come put on your crocs" I called out for Isaiah as I stood in his room and I heard his little feet patter on the floor
"I'm here mommy" Isaiah cheesed and I put his crocs in front of him and he put them on
"Come on" I smiled as I grabbed his hand and we walked to the living room
"You ready to go now?" Miriam smiled and I nodded my head yes and we left the apartment.
"Can I get fruit snacks or skittles?" Isaiah asked as we got into the elevator.
"No sweets bubba" I smiled
"No fair, Mimi can I get skittles?" Isaiah asked Miriam
"We'll see" Miriam cheesed and she gave Isaiah a high five
"Sometimes Isaiah acts like I ain't his mom" I chuckled as I played with his twists and we got out of the elevator and walked towards Miriam's car.
"When did you change cars?" I asked as I admired her White G-wagon.
"I just got this one a week ago" Miriam cheesed as she unlocked the car. I buckled Isaiah into his car seat and closed the door,then getting in myself.
"So you now have 3 cars Mimi?" I asked in shock
"Yes I do and you can too,you ok with your BMW X5?" Miriam laughed
"I'll get a new car when I sell the one I have" I shrugged as we drove out of the apartment complex underground carpark.
"Naira you literally have enough money to buy yourself a new car or two to be precise" Miriam sighed
"I'm keeping that money to open up my own nail salon" I sighed as I looked out the window
"I understand,so let me get you a new car" Miriam suggested as always,she needs to understand that I don't want to depend on her for money when I literally make enough money on the weekends
"Don't do that Mimi,you've already done enough for me and Isaiah you literally bought everything we use in the apartment" I sighed
"Alright fine,I hear you but I'm always here to help Naira" Miriam smiled and I smiled back at her
"What are we going to do at Walmart anyways?" Isaiah asked
"Buying some groceries for the house and your snacks for school this coming week" I smiled
"I don't wanna go back to school though" Isaiah pouted
"You have to bubba" Miriam laughed I got Isaiah's iPad from my bag and gave it to him to play his paw patrol game.
"Something crazy happened at the strip club last night" I chuckled
"Spill the tea" Mimi laughed
"I had a private dance in the VIP room with some guy named Jakari and after I did my dance and gave him the Tekashi experience,he asked me why do I strip even with how beautiful I am" I explained
"No way, aren't such questions forbidden in strip clubs , asking about personal lives I mean" Mimi laughed
"I didn't know what to say Mimi,I was about to get emotional and I just took the money and left but he stopped me and told me he wants to know me outside the club and find out more about me and I left" I continued
"He sounds like a genuine guy Naira but I guess it was for the better not Letting him know you either than your stage name" Miriam sighed
"You're right,I can imagine what drama I'd be getting dragged into" I shrugged
"So you said this guy's name is Jakari right?" Mimi asked
"Yes " I laughed
"Jakari Thom?? As in the Miami heat's basketball player Jakari Thom?" Mimi asked again
"No way,uhuh you're telling me I gave thee Jakari Thom and private strip show??" I gasped
"Yes Naira ,I can't believe you turned that fine ,sexy man down like girlllll" Miriam laughed
"Look at you, now on his side, not to be rude but I don't want to be involved with any basketball player or anyone for that matter" I laughed
"Wherever he is right now,I bet he's trying to find your insta,twitter, tiktok and Snapchat handles just to talk to you. Next time say yes " Miriam chuckled as she parked her car in the Walmart parking lot.
My mind wandered off as I thought about what Miriam said just now and I wasn't ready for that type of commitment or any type of commitment with any man
