Game Day

Dominic's POV

Last night I was so close to kissing Melanie but I pulled away bc she has a boyfriend even though I don't like the guy I still need to be respectful. I woke up this morning from my mom yelling at me to wake up.
"Dom get up! We are going to the Johnson's daughter basketball game. Let's go it starts in 20 mins!" Great I get to see Melanie today plus I get to see her in her basketball uniform which I bet she looks beautiful in.
I got out of bed and took a quick shower. I picked to wear a blue v neck with black jeans and white nikes with my gold watch. I put on some cologne grab my phone and keys and leave my bedroom.
"Mom am I driving or you?"
"You'll drive you know the way to the school"
"Okay I'll wait for you in the car" I heard her say okay so I left to start the car and waited for my mom. When I felt my phone vibrate.
Brianna: Good morning babe (:
Wow I totally forgot I gave Brianna my number.
Me: morning (:
I don't want to call her babe. I want to call Melanie babe but I can't.
Brianna: what are u doing today maybe we can hang out.?
Me: I'm busy right now I'm going with my mom somewhere but I'll let you know later..
Brianna: OMG where y'all going I want to come so I can meet your parents (:
Me: it's just my mom my dad died when I was a kid but um sure we're going to the girls basketball game at school.
B: okay I'll dress real nice for you(:
Me: okay see you soon
B: bye babe (:
I didn't respond after that I just ignored it. Then my mom came in the car and we are on our way to the basketball game. I can't wait to see Melanie in her uniform.

Melanie's POV

Today is the big game against our rival school Wilkins high school. We've beaten them so many times I don't even keep count anymore. My parents and brother made signs for me and the team. I look towards the entrance and I see Trevor. I haven't seen him since Dominic kicked his ass at the parking lot. We've texted each other but I haven't seen him till now. His lip has a cut, he has a black eye, and a cut on his eyebrow. I didn't know what to do so I went to him and hugged him.
"Good luck with your game" he said when he hugged me back
"Thanks I'm sorry I haven't gone to see you I've been really busy with school, practice, and practice. I'm so-" I was cut off by him connecting his lips to mine it was just a peck. He does this when I don't stop talking.
"Babe it's okay I wouldn't want you to see me like this but I wanted to come show my support for you bc I know you will do the same for me."
"Of course I would babe. How-" I was cut off by my coach yelling at me to go bc the game is about to start. I gave Trevor a kiss on the cheek and ran to the court. While I was running I bumped into someone and I was going to fall but they caught me. When I looked up I couldn't believe who it was.
"Hey watch were your going you don't want to injury yourself before your game" Dominic said while pulling me up.
"Yeah sorry um what are you doing here?"
"Your parents invited my mom and I. Is that a problem?"
"Um no ... I gotta go " I left walking to my team and coach and forgetting everything about Trevor and Dominic I'm just focusing on the game.

After the game

We won the game 70-50. I scored most of the points and was elected MVP. Every time I shot a basket I looked at Trevor who was clapping for me. Then I would look at Dominic and he wasn't even paying attention we was to focused on his slutty girl friend, not that I care or anything. After the game my parents took my brother and I to go eat at Olive Garden. My parents decided to invite Dominic and his mom they said yes. Trevor left before the game ended, I didn't get to ask how he was feeling. Since Dominic is dating the slutty bitch she came too and I was not happy about it.

At the restaurant
Everyone was eating there food the parents were making small talk. Jacob was on his phone and Dominic and Brianna were talking to each other or flirting I don't even know bc I'm not paying attention to them. I kept texting Trevor asking him why he left but he hasn't responded. I left to the bathroom just so I can get a break from everyone. After a while I walked out and I saw Dominic waiting outside.
"What are you doing waiting out here?"
"I wanted to talk to you"
"Okay about ?"
"Are you jealous of Brianna and I "
"Oh yeah of course" I said in a sarcastic tone.
"There's no shame if you are"
"Well I'm not okay. How about you go back to your slut"
"Wow there's no need to call her a slut"
"I can call her whatever I want. You're not the boss of me"
Next thing I knew Dominic pinned me against the wall. Now we're face to face again with his cologne filling up my nose. He kept looking at my lips, I wanted him to kiss me so bad. I bit my bottom lip so he knows I want to kiss him. He smirked and got closer to me. He had my hands pinned over my head. Our lips were inches away from each other.
"I know you want to kiss me"he said in a whisper
"Then kiss me" he clenched his jaw and moved in closer. But then that's when my stupid brother decides to go the bathroom and interrupt.
"Melanie what are you doing?!" When Dominic heard Jacob's voice he pulled away.
"Nothing um I'm going to go back to the table" I left Dominic and Jacob there. I started to blush when I walked back to the table.
