Chapter 10 - semestral break pt. 2

"This is a well deserved rest for all of us, Ji." Kris added. "So, sulitin natin itong Batangas trip."

This rest with you is something that I'm looking forward to. Kris thought.

Tumango naman si Ji, they all waited for this 1 month semestral break. She is hoping to make the best out of it.

"How are you holding up as a Sophomore?" Ji asked.

"It's tiring, actually." Sagot naman ni Kris.

After some driving, they finally entered SLEX. They decided to stop at one of the stopovers since hindi na din nakapag-breakfast ang lahat bago umalis. Luckily, nakahanap naman sila ng parking spot kahit pa almost full na yung stopover na pinuntahan nila.

They decided na sa Jollibee kumain for breakfast. Cause heck, Mcdo na ata ang laman ng sistema nila dahil hindi nawawala yon sa weekly meal nila as busy college students lalo na last week when everyone was cramming their papers.

"Finally, month break from acads." Lu says as they all settle down sa tables, and chairs na pinagdikit-dikit nila.

"Grabe, nakakapagod, utang na loob." Kyungsoo added.

They started eating right away nung dumating na ang pagkain nila, it was a quiet meal hanggang sa natapos sila. After eating, is the restroom break since they don't plan to do another stopover para tuloy tuloy na sila sa Batangas.

"Hey, I'm getting Coffee Bean. Do you want anything?" Tanong ni Kris kay Ji nung pabalik na sana sila sa car.

"Yeah, samahan na kita." Ji answered.

"Sure?" Kris asked. "You look sleepy, pwede ka na mauna sa sasakyan."

"I'm sure." Sagot ni Ji. "Might as well get something to keep me up para hindi ka antukin while driving."

The two then headed to Coffee Bean to get their coffee, and a few sandwich for Kris just to keep him up on the road. 

When everyone was settled in, nagstart na sila ng byahe ulit dahil napansin nila that SLEX rush hour is starting. Si Xiumin na ang nagdrive sa mini van, and they blasted their music again just like earlier.

"Ji?" Tawag ni Kris as he step on the car brakes.

"Hmm?" Lingon ni Ji kay Kris who is already looking at her.

"Sandwich please." Kris says before opening his mouth.

"You're not driving?" Natatawang sabi naman ni Ji. "Naka-stop tayo oh."

Umiling lang si Kris before opening his mouth again, waiting to be fed by Ji.

Ji unwrapped the sandwich, and nilapit ito sa mouth ni Kris. He then took a bite, and gave Ji a happy smile.

"Hay nako, papa-baby pa." Ji teased.

Kris won't admit to anyone na he likes being taken care of. Being the eldest in their friend group, sanay sila, and sanay sya na sya ang nag-aalaga sa lahat. He's always busy looking after everyone, so it's nice for him to feel na someone is taking care of him as well.

It's not that no one is looking after Kris, just that, nakasanayan lang talaga siguro since sya ang Kuya ng lahat. Ramdam naman nya yung pagmamahal, and respect sakanya ng friend group nila.

"So, wanna tell me something?" Kris asked, making Ji a bit confused.

"About what?" Tanong pabalik ni Ji.

"Napapansin ko napapalapit ka masyado kay Suho lately." Sagot naman ni Kris na medyo serious tone na.

"Oh."
