CHAPTER SIX: THE ENCOUNTER

SIX

"Tito Can I stay for the night?" Nagpuppy eyes si Keith kay Dad.

My dad laughed. "Of course son. The guest room is always open for you"

I smiled to myself. Nakakatuwa na magkasundong magkasundo si Keith at Dad. The two most important guys in my life. 

"Alright! Dalhin ko lang to sa guest room V, tito."  Keith said, indicating his backpack.

"Okay. Magbibihis na rin ako."

Umakyat na ko. I changed to a simple tank top and shorts. 

Pagbaba ko, nasa sala si dad at Keith. Nanonood ng basketball.

"Dinner na." I called to them.

Tumayo yung dalawa then we ate dinner. After that, umakyat na kami ni Keith sa room ko. 

"Tara tong its tayo" Keith smiled at me but there is a wicked gleam in his eyes.

I smell something fishy.

"Sige. Hanapin mo yung cards."

"Aba kwarto mo to princess. Dapat ikaw ang maghanap."

"Ang tamad mo. Fine"

Pagkatalikod ko, bigla akong binato ni Keith ng unan. 

"KEITH!" I grabbed a bigger pillow then threw it at him with all my strenght (which is not much) kaso nailagan niya.

"HAHHAHHAHAHA kawawa ka naman Valeen! Ang weak mo." Binato niya nanaman ako. Sapul ulit. -____-

Kumuha ko ng unan tapos hinampas sya ng hinampas. He fell to my bed laughing.

"Get the cards na" He said, smiling.

"Para batuhin mo ulit ako? Nah"

"Sige ako na. Where did you put it?"

"Can't remember"

Hinanap ni Keith yung baraha. Nakita naman niya agad.

"Come'ere let's play"

Sumalampak kami sa floor. 

"Ikaw magshuffle Keith"

"Kay. So how are you holding up with the org?" He asked me habang nagbabalasa.

I sighed. "Fine, I guess."

He cocked an eyebrow. "Who is it?"

I sighed again. Keith knows me well. Alam niyang may problema ko sa org.

"Cassie Fernando. The witch hates me."

"Why? You're adorable."

I rolled my eyes. "Stop it. Ewan ko ba, siguro dahil kay Kyle. He's giving me far too much attention. Cassie's jealous."

"Then stay away from Kyle"

"Why should I? May plano pa ko sakanya no. I'll teach that guy a lesson" I smiled.

Umiling iling si Keith. "Valeen, Kyle is not like the guys from your past. He can play your game."

I shrugged. "Then I guess we'll see who can play it better."

Nagtapon na si Keith ng baraha sakin. "Bahala ka sa buhay mo. Basta ako sinabihan na kita"

"Wag ka ngang paranoid. Di na ko bata." Bumunot ako.

"Then quit acting like one." Nagbaba si Keith ng bahay. Tapos nagtapon ulit ng baraha sakin.

"Whatevs. Badtrip naman to magtapon eh! Wala akong mabuo!"
