It was dark and you were tired. It had all happened so fast you couldn't save yourself. You were a great fighter and were very strong. You had the quickest reflexes and strongest punches. But that was when you fought humans. The people who captured you were something else.

You and your younger brother, Austin, had returned home from school. You unlocked the door and walked inside.

"We're home!" you shouted.

No response.

Your parents worked from home and they would always be making some noise but today was completely silent.

"Mom? Dad?" you asked and your brother looked just as confused as you did.

They probably headed out or something. They'd be back soon.

Or not.

You walked to the living room when the worst moment of your life happened. You parents were gutted on the floor with blood spilling out of their bodies.

A hand flew over your mouth and the put an arm in front of Austin and moved to block his vision of the horrible sight.

What made you filled with rage however, was that there was a man leaning against the wall. He looked in his early twenties with a leather jacket and jeans. The expression on his face looked like this wasn't his first time doing this to someone.

"I'm full. I guess I'll have to save you two for later," he decided as he walked over to you.

"You son of a bitch," you said as you punched his face.

You didn't think you'd land a hit but when you did it felt good and you were gonna do so much worse to him after that.

"Austin get out!" you yelled as you went into fighting stance to take on the bastard.

You heard his little footsteps go out the door. You knew he was safe and with that relief and calmness in your mind, you got knocked out.

You woke up in what seemed to be a prison cell. It looked like it hadn't been used in many years and the thing that killed your parents was the first one to use it in a long time.

You were on the bed and as you got up, you saw Austin sitting in the corner.

"Hey you okay," you whispered as you got up and sat beside him.

"(y/n), I'm scared," he whimpered.

"It's gonna be okay. We're gonna be fine. Nothing's gonna happen to you and we're gonna get out of here safe and sound," you reassure him not really believing any of the stuff you said.

You threw your arm around him and he cuddled into you.

For now, you would just wait and see what would happen. And think of an escape plan.

~

According to your barley readable watch, you had been stuck for almost two hours. You were both extremely hungry and there were no signs of food anywhere. You hated being hungry.

"You doing okay?" you ask Austin.

"We're being held captive (y/n). I'm not really okay," he sounded upset.

"I know. But I'm gonna get you out of here okay, I promise."

You were very disappointed in yourself that you couldn't save you and your brother. Something had happened and you couldn't do anything about it, which is what you hated.

You stood up and tried to look for a way out. The bars were solid and as old as the cell looked, it was pretty damn hard to find a weak spot.

You turned around to see a look of doubt on Austin's face.
